“We are in town for a month and have been enjoying Zuma coffee, baked goods (blueberry muffins!) and sandwiches. Great latte, the new espresso machine obviously working well! We’ve been enjoying the sandwiches and planning to try some provisions for an upcoming weekend to make life easier. Recommended!“

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“This place is pretty cool! I visited and my husband got the double scoop cookie dough waffle cone ice cream with a homemade blueberry muffin. I got the iced carmel coffee with sugar. It was excellent! There is free parking past the Grey Eagle Taqueria and everything is within a short walking distance. The Resort & Spa is 2 minute drive from here. I love the atmosphere and the feel of the cozy town! The crowd gathers around evening. There's a little gift shop down the road and you can do some rafting. The pizza place nearby does brick oven style pizza and has gluten free options as well.“

“Laid back cosy vibes with gorgeous Mountain View’s from the patio and the locals who go are friendly. The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. Regulars come to perform awesome music for everyone to jam out to. Definitely recommend stopping by 👍“

“15 of us went there for a farewell luncheon for a coworker. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were exceptional.
We played miniature golf afterwards, and had a blast!
If you want to feel like a kid again and have a delicious meal, I highly recommend Salt Face Mule Brewing Co.“

“Today for lunch they had a salmon over pasta noodles special which was one of the best Salmon dishes I have ever had…If anyone from management reads this, please put this dish on the regular menu. Fantastic!!“

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.“

“Great food and great music! The locals always make you feel right at home!“
“This place is an easy beautiful drive from Asheville. Picturesque setting among the vines with a rustic barn porch and great one man band playing some classic rock, country, folk, etc. We met some super interesting locals who come here regularly and they regaled us with stories of travels and exotic wineries in Europe. (He was a sommelier)
DISCLAIMER to my fellow wine snobs. Do NOT come here with James Suckling dreams of discovering Joseph Phelps long lost East Coast twin brother. The Chardonnay was a 3.8 and the Cabernet franc was a 2.8.

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“We were visiting family in the area and they took us to Soba. On the way back home to VA we couldnt stop talking about how great the sushi was. Our waitress Bee was also amazing. We can’t wait for our next visit to go back!“

“Wonderful service and such great flavors. The summer salad was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The pasta is so good - the ragu and chicken Italian sausage dishes both such great textures and complementary flavors. The seafood creole was also delicious. Here's my one caveat. The rolls are always highly praised, I know, but I wish they used a little less butter. I don't like a pool of butter for the roll to sit in, or for my fingers to be so greasy from picking it up.“

“I mean where do I even start. This place is heaven on earth. Amazing food. The chicken salad is the best I’ve ever had. I love the turkey pretzel sandwich. And don’t even get me started on the Italian ciabatta. The bakery items are insane. I have yet to order something I didn’t like. Nothing is super sweet which is sooo nice. I hate when a desert tastes like straight sugar. You can actually taste the different flavors that are in each items. Wonderful service as well. Over all 10/10!!!!“

“The Original Papa Nicks won our hearts decades ago. During their hiatus, we starved, craving their delicious fare! We could not be happier when we found out they had reopened and even more so when they expanded! 👏❤❤❤“

“This was amazing! The pizza is so good, the staff is so nice, and the atmosphere is just pleasant to be around! We got a cheese, pepperoni and goat cheese-fig-bacon-pizza. They were to die for! There was a small band playing which was also nice. We decided to sit outside and it was very nice as well. The bathrooms were clean, the staff is polite, and the pizza is good. We WILL be coming back!“
