“This was amazing! The pizza is so good, the staff is so nice, and the atmosphere is just pleasant to be around! We got a cheese, pepperoni and goat cheese-fig-bacon-pizza. They were to die for! There was a small band playing which was also nice. We decided to sit outside and it was very nice as well. The bathrooms were clean, the staff is polite, and the pizza is good. We WILL be coming back!“

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“We loved browsing Artisun! It's such a welcoming, dog-friendly shop filled with beautiful handmade art, crystals, pottery, gifts, coffee, and light food. We ended up leaving with a coffee mug and a few fun stickers, but it was hard to choose because there were so many unique pieces.

They were wonderful to chat with, and we were especially moved to see the photo showing how badly the shop flooded during Hurricane Helene. Seeing it beautifully restored today makes you appreciate the resilience of this community even more. We were also sad to hear their sister shop in Marshall was damaged and is closed.

If you're visiting Hot Springs, don't miss this place. It's a perfect stop to browse, grab a coffee, and support local artists.“

The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. “Absolutely fantastic experience!! From the greeting when we walked in - to the bar .. we were so blown away by the service! I got a hazy IPA that came out more hazy than usual. The bartender gave me a different IPA but someone in charge of brewing also saw our interaction, fixed the keg and brought me a new beer!! Such a great team!!

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.“

“The wine is only part (but a very good part!) of the reason I would highly recommend a stop by the lovely Addison Farms vineyard. The country setting is peaceful and beautiful and made for a perfect afternoon sitting on the cozy porch looking over the vineyards. We enjoyed a DIY cheese plate of fresh, local products packed in an adorable picnic basket with the necessary implements to enjoy it. The bar tender was kind, informative, and added to the air of peacefulness of the surroundings. The owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming out--what a nice gesture. Just a short drive from Asheville--we will be back!“

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“This was a Sunday brunch dine in at the bar for us. Menu is sprinkled with what I would consider "brunch" items plus the typical lunch items. I had the tavern breakfast: eggs poached were perfect, for some reason the grits always get my attention (and I prefer potatoes), the sausage patty which is locally sourced is 100%. My spouse had a more typical lunch item of a fried chicken Cobb salad. All great. For the record, it is excellent to have another brunch option on Sunday in downtown Weaverville. Thank you.“

“I am visiting from out of town. I am so pleased that I happened upon Well-Bred. I had the chicken salad on a croissant my first visit and returned for a cappuccino and flourless torte the next day.

Both visits I was assisted by a super helpful and genuine employee named River. I had a few questions about the Asheville area which River answered with an authentic smile, and a few quick recommendations to take my trip to the next level. I will definitely return!!“
