“We booked califarmia as our wedding caterers. They are friendly, efficient, fairly priced and absolutely delicious. I love that they source their ingredients from local farmers. Each step of the process was easily navigated. Mitchell was incredible. I am especially thankful for their support during rescheduling our COVID affected date. We never had to wonder if our caterer was going to show up, which I can’t say about all the vendors. They were compliant with proper precautions the day of. I don’t think we could have chosen a better caterer. The entire experience was a good one. I only wish I had more room the day of to eat more of their delicious food.“

“I randomly stumbled upon this food truck during a trip to Nashville. I’ve never had an empanada before and after tasting the ones from Empanada Lua, I can honestly say I’ve been missing out!I tried the Corn & Cheese and Chicken empanadas. While both were good, the chicken was fantastic! I could’ve eaten a whole plate of them! I tried them both with the Chipotle Ranch dipping sauce and it was the perfect combo!The young man at the counter was pleasant and wait time was reasonable. I think I stopped at the perfect time because there weren’t many people ahead of me. However, by the time I finished my serving a full line had formed.If I was a local, I would definitely be a frequent customer. “Boyfriend and I came to Nashville for the first time for an airsoft tournament and only had the day, so this place checked all the boxes when it came to deciding what to eat and make the best of it. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“

Pollo Ala Plancha, Birria and Shrimp tacos (the consume is incredible), and an adobo half chicken that'll make you sweat! “Being from South Louisiana I crave crawfish this time of year and I was so glad to find a local vendor that is also from Louisiana and knows crawfish! I got a 30lb sack this weekend for a small family boil and they were good! I know early on in the season not to expect a lot of large crawfish, but we were surprised to find a few of what I'd call Select size. We have some local Nashville family that have never been to a crawfish boil so it was fun to be able to share this experience with them. Thank you South Coast Seafood & Distribution, we definitely did pass a good time! Ça c’est bon!“

“The best tortas I've had outside of Mexico City! I've been there four times and I've tried, like, seven different tortas. They're all good, but the Toluqueña is the best. It's got milanesa, chorizo, and quesillo, as well the other standard torta ingredients. The tortas are even better with rajas and salsa. You have to ask for these though. The guys are super friendly too. Don't be fooled by some of the negative reviews, they're mostly from several years ago!“

“Tacos for the win! We were staying at the HI Express nearby and after a death defying walk over (seriously...no sidewalks and a crosswalk from and to nowhere), we scored AWESOME tacos. We're from AZ and travel all over the country in our RV and are always on the hunt for great tacos. This place had them! Totally worth the walk...and then we ducked into the gas station and picked up some margaritas in the can and we were set. This is a great place so head over and get some great food for a super price!“
