“Great! I had pork BBQ tray, collard greens and BBQ beans. Everything was excellent. I tried just a little of the vinegar bbq sauce base because not usually my favorite but it was very good. I used the traditional sweet southern style sauce and it was my favorite. My husband had a brisket burger and loved it! Also the smoked Mac and cheese and cornbread pudding (think that is what they called it) very very good as well. We enjoyed banana pudding for dessert! We highly recommend!!“

“We were there for lunch. They have a new seating system. You stand in line with a menu and order then pay then they seat you. I have bad knees. With only about 10 people there, the wait was long. Thankfully the hostess saw my distress and took us out of line and seated us early. I watched a man on a walker, a lady who had had a stroke, and many more on crutches and canes wait in the long line. I get trying to streamline your service. I get asking for pay early except that no one wanted to tip ahead of their food and I'm sure that hurt the wait staff. I don't think its a goof system. My daughter is a wait person and she thought it was horrible. We loved our food and could not have had a better waiter! I have been going to The Firehouse since they opened and I want to continue. I can't imagine how long that line would be on a Friday night. Please Mr Seaton, rethink your system to accommodate people with leg issues.“

“We waited in the bar for an hour while waiting on our table with was ok. The bartender best described as dazed and confused was on the struggle bus. Another employee gave us bread and she tried to take it and give it to someone else. The employee said I just asked if they wanted that and they said yes. Bartender was flustered and walked off. When she came back she said would you like another drink? My reply was, what I would really like is a napkin and silverware to slice and eat this bread. Ugh. Luckily our table was ready by that time within 30 minutes. The service at the table improved and food was great.“

“A bit out of the way but worth the trip! Food is great, portions are large and the price is very fair!
Vegetarian options: It's a BBQ place... But they do have a salad bar.
Parking: Ample seating. Might be a bit crowded at peak times.“
