“I don’t do fancy. Well...sometimes I do. But sitting too close to white linens, folded cloth napkins, and an array of utensils gives me imposter syndrome. I was born with a greasy spoon in my mouth, not a silver one. I need a place off the beaten path. Shack chic with a hint of propane. You know what I’m talking about. I need a place where the southern accents are thicker than the gravy they serve. Where the old men gather, talking about the same local sports and political teams they’ve been a part of for the past hundred years. A place where the walls don’t have pictures of celebrities. Just family photos. Some that read “In Loving Memory.” I found that place. It sits a few beats off the interstate, weathered and loved, really close to the Nirvana RV Park. What you smell isn’t teen spirit. It’s old-school country cooking, served with a friendly smile...and a fried cherry pie. Eggs piled high. A vegetable omelet that never claimed to be healthy. A ribeye? Yes, please. Especially one from that griddle, which you know has been going non-stop since the Nixon administration. If you find yourself somewhere between Nashville and Huntsville on I-65, venture a little off the interstate. Stop by Five Points Market and take it all in. Yep.“

“Great staff. We are working there fixing the asphalt parking lot, with 110 degree heat index. They brought us iced down drinks every hour or so. Very sweet. And when we ordered our lunch, the Mexican Pizza and Meximelts were prepared perfectly, to spec, just like I remember from 30 years ago“

“Sonic is usually pretty good. It can be hit or miss but when it's good it's one of my favorites. Love those tater tots and crushed ice. Classic.

This trip was a good one. I tried the double smash burger just like it comes, a medium tot even though I wanted a large one, and an icy cold diet coke. Yeah I know that's funny to some people - including me now that I think about it.

This place was very busy. It was hard to park. Servers were almost running to the cars to get people's food to them. They didn't slow down and clearly were hard workers. This is not something I usually see where I live which is more urban.

The burger was spot on. Very hot. Perfectly cooked, juicy, great flavor in the meat, and the sauce and fixings they decided to put on this thing were almost perfect. Maybe a little too much sauce that made the bun absorb some towards the end. But it was overall great.

I shouldn't have salted the tots before trying them bc they put a perfect amount on before I did. They were fairly hot but not as hot as the burger. By the time I was done they were barely warm but they were still good.

The ice was, as always, great and the diet coke was crisp enough, better than most places.

Server smiled, thanked me, and seemed upbeat and grateful to have a job.

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but Pizza Hut absolutely deserves one this time. We ordered two pan crust pizzas and two orders of breadsticks, and I can honestly say it was the BEST Pizza Hut I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered online and left a note asking if they could cook my pizza just a little longer, and they actually did! That’s something I’ve requested several times in the past but never have actually had anyone do it. So, I really appreciated them paying attention to my order. Everything was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, the breadsticks were LOADED with seasoning and the service was just as great. Whoever was working last night absolutely nailed it. And I owe you! I spaced it out and only tipped you the few dollars on card, I wanted to leave cash also. Keep up the awesome work!“
