“At 85, I know excellent food. Theirs is just the best around. I crave their country ham. I rate their cornbread dressing along with my mother's. I especially enjoy their slaw and cornbread. Other vegetables are just fine as well. Of course, they have delicious chocolate cream and coconut cream pies. I go about 10:30 and can get my ham and some other goodies and then when 11 comes around I can order at least two plates to bring home. It is always a delight. I surely like all the ladies who serve! “Toot’s has a fun, laid-back vibe — even though it’s right in the city, the wood decor and casual setup give it that coastal seafood shack feel. It’s usually busy, but the staff are quick and friendly, and the food comes out faster than you’d expect.

I had the catfish basket, my husband got the oyster basket, and our kid enjoyed the kids' cheeseburger. The sweet tea was also really good. Great place for a casual bite with solid food and fast service.“

“First time coming here. The food was amazing! We came with a group of 7 and got the spinach dip, wisconsin cheese bites, and chips & queso for appetizers. They were all great but I would mostly recommend the first two. I got the country fried chicken for my entree and was very impressed by the flavor and quality, especially for the price (and it came with two sides and texas toast!) The free croissant was also delicious! Our server was Kaylyn and she was superb, above and beyond in all areas! She was on the next level with attentiveness and anticipating our needs, all while being incredibly friendly and personable. Truly an asset to the business! “This was our first visit to The Goat. The restaurant was in a new residential area with a “urban park/downtown” feel (brick roads, brick townhouses). We arrived during brunch and were offered brunch and lunch menus. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The menus offered a wide range of food options, from to eggs to pizza. The decor was an attractive blend of industrial mixed with historical warehouse (sky high ceilings, wood beams, exposed brick walls, painted wood shelving, trendy lighting).

We tried the jerk chicken tacos, deli pepperoni pizza rolls, boneless dry rub wings and a spinach and pesto omelet. All of our food was served hot and fresh on dark rectangular ceramic plates. The Goat dry rub was flavorful and the chicken was very tender. The pizza rolls were buttery and crispy with just the right amount of cheese without being greasy. The marinara was served warm (as it should be but frequently not). The tacos were served in portions of 2 or 3. Two was plenty for one person. The tortillas were warm and soft, the sauce was fantastic and the jerk chicken was bursting with flavor. I didn’t try the omelet, but it was plentiful and my husband ate every bit of it.

I pulled into the Waffle House at 1928 S Church St in Murfreesboro to let the engine cool down and figure out what I was going to do. Thankfully your staff on 2nd shift, Harleigh & Xavier said it would be fine to leave it at the restaurant until the tow truck was able to get it towed to the shop. They even held onto my keys to give to the tow truck driver when he got there so I wouldn't have to leave them in my unlocked vehicle. These two employees helped me out so much last night, I just wanted to bring their kindness to the attention of Waffle House itself and customers. Harleigh & Xavier thank you so much again for helping me out last night! Waffle House please do something to recognize these two!“

“I love Slim Chickens food....but after tonight, I'm a fan of their service as well! We placed a delivery order through the app. Our food showed up but the driver didn't even ring the bell. They dropped our food off on the sidewalk. We figured out it was there because our dog barked when they pulled out of the driveway. Our food was right....hot and fresh but the 3 dessert jars were missing...which shouldn't be an issue except they are fairly pricey (but totally worth it). I called the delivery persons phone and he said "no english" and hung up on me. I sent a text to him hoping that he was using Google translate and he came back to our house. My husband went to meet him in the drive and all he said was "that's all they gave me. call store". We called the store and the manager got on the phone. I explained the situation to him and he remembered putting the 3 jars with our order so he knew the driver had kept the desserts. He gave me a choice of a refund or he would send our desserts to us....no questions asked. Our desserts showed up 15 minutes later by a great driver (Emma) and all ended well. Great service and food by the Thompson Lane location!!!!!“
