“This was our first visit to The Goat. The restaurant was in a new residential area with a “urban park/downtown” feel (brick roads, brick townhouses). We arrived during brunch and were offered brunch and lunch menus. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The menus offered a wide range of food options, from to eggs to pizza. The decor was an attractive blend of industrial mixed with historical warehouse (sky high ceilings, wood beams, exposed brick walls, painted wood shelving, trendy lighting).

We tried the jerk chicken tacos, deli pepperoni pizza rolls, boneless dry rub wings and a spinach and pesto omelet. All of our food was served hot and fresh on dark rectangular ceramic plates. The Goat dry rub was flavorful and the chicken was very tender. The pizza rolls were buttery and crispy with just the right amount of cheese without being greasy. The marinara was served warm (as it should be but frequently not). The tacos were served in portions of 2 or 3. Two was plenty for one person. The tortillas were warm and soft, the sauce was fantastic and the jerk chicken was bursting with flavor. I didn’t try the omelet, but it was plentiful and my husband ate every bit of it.

“Toot’s has a fun, laid-back vibe — even though it’s right in the city, the wood decor and casual setup give it that coastal seafood shack feel. It’s usually busy, but the staff are quick and friendly, and the food comes out faster than you’d expect.

I had the catfish basket, my husband got the oyster basket, and our kid enjoyed the kids' cheeseburger. The sweet tea was also really good. Great place for a casual bite with solid food and fast service.“

The spicy chimichanga special is my absolute favorite dish and I’ve never found a Chimi this delicious at any other Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to. Tonight I ordered for delivery through Grubhub for the first time, and I was nervous that it wouldn’t be as good. I normally prefer my food hot and fresh out of the oven. I was NOT disappointed! It may not have been right out of the oven, but it was hot and it was fresh!!! I highly recommend Mi Patria and this spicy and flavorful dish. They also have the best tortilla chips - light, crisp, and not too salty. Whether eating in restaurant or ordering for delivery, I promise your tastebuds will thank you. A+“

“We walked into Five Guys yesterday, and as we were waiting for other family members to arrive, an organization with 20+ (wonderfully behaved and respectful) young men walked in front of us. We thought of going somewhere else, thinking that it would be a while before we were able to order, let alone get our food. I caught the attention of one of the employees at the pickup section, who was kind enough to speak to me in the midst of the crowd; he assured me that they strive to get everything out in around 15 minutes. Sure enough – in around that time– the whole group in front of us had been served and our order was ready. I wish I had gotten the names of the two young men at the pickup line who remained professional and pleasant even when a large group walked in suddenly. That kind of professionalism and kindness is rare and to be commended. For anyone in management who would like to know who they are, they were working on June 22, specifically between 11:30 and 11:50. The food was fine, but the demeanor of these two young men is what made the experience especially pleasant.“

All other items I chose tasted bland-as if needing salt or more seasoning. Meatloaf was cold. Butter patties were ice cold, never to soften.
