“The service at El Patron was good and the prices great for the portion sizes. The meat in the molcajete and chimichanga were lacking any kind of seasoning and were overcooked; this seems to be a very common issue amongst Mexican restaurants in this area. The beans tasted plain but the rice was better seasoned. The complimentary salsa with the chips grew on us, albeit on the thin side for a salsa. Their alcoholic beverage prices were reasonable as well although we didn't try any. The restaurant itself looks great on the inside. We went for lunch as soon as they opened on a Sunday and two large groups came in after us that got very loud.“

“Stopped at Taco Bell on Friday, April 10th with my son—I was picking him up from UTK to bring him home to Chattanooga for his girlfriend’s senior prom. After working 8 hours and then driving 3 with still an hour or more to go, I was running purely on vibes and the promise of a Baja Blast Freeze.
We ordered online to make life easy, pulled up feeling efficient… and then got the news: the Baja Blast Freeze machine was down. I’m not saying that’s the only reason we chose Taco Bell, but… it was absolutely the only reason we chose Taco Bell!
I didn’t go full meltdown mode—just hit them with a “seriously??” and laughed because honestly, what else can you do at that point? The employee was super kind and grabbed the manager, who explained everything and helped us pivot.
We ended up with regular Baja Blast over ice (still elite, no complaints), but here’s where they really won me over—they surprised us with a large order of cinnamon twists AND two taco vouchers. Like… okay Taco Bell, I see you
So yes, the Freeze machine may have been down, but their customer service was very much up. After a long day, that kindness (and bonus snacks) turned everything around. 10/10 would risk emotional attachment to a drink machine again.“
