“Have been to Longhorns many times, tonight we were very disappointed. My husband and I both ordered a 9oz filet and I will tell you we were not served filets. You know how filets are supposed to be melt in your mouth steaks. These were not. Didn’t complain my bad. Sad so wanted a good steak.”

“My wife and I love our place at Walden Creek Apartments. We have met wonderful people, and the staff is so helpful. There are great amenities - an arcade, a pool table, and a great walking path! One thing we especially enjoy is the pool!”

“My son and I enjoy eating here every couple of weeks. It's always clean, friendly, and the food is delicious. My favorite is their Butter Chicken, but my son is more willing to experiment. The best thing of all is the naan bread. Butter or garlic it's fresh and yummy. You can get a spice level from mild on up if you can't tolerate super spicy foods. You will be full, and take home boxes are availale.”

The smiling friendly faces, positive energy and the food...oh that white pie pizza and the salad were everything i was hoping it to be. the only down fall is i was so full after that i didn't have room for the cheesecake! thats ok because ill be back! Great job Nellys it's a 5 out of 5 for me.”

I told her I love pistachio and she recommended the Doc Brown, which was divine 😍 Also, kudos to the owners for the music playlist! I heard several Empress Of songs and she’s my favorite artist ever. Love this place!”

“My wife has a severe sensitivity to gluten and the kitchen made accomodations to make sure the food was gluten free. I really appreciated that.

And the food was absolutely amazing. The burgers were so good. Meat seasoned well, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and hands down, the gluten free bun was best we have tasted so far in the country. My middle child usually doesn't finish her burger but she finished all of it here. That says something.

The fries were really good too. Most restaurants serve beef tallow fries that do not taste like beef tallow fries. But here you can actually taste the beef tallow. The fries were crispy and the flavor of the fries were reminiscent of McDonald fries in the good ole days.

We will be back again.”

“Sometimes the wings are good, but they are hit or miss! And when they miss your pissed off and want to go back up there for your hard earned money back! Getting clearly old wings because it’s .99 night is crazy and angering when you’re hungry and thinking you’ll get what you got before. When wings turn to dust in your mouth because they’re old and refried, is wild! Trying to attach a pic!”

“I love the folks here as they are always so kind. Some time ago, my oldest son concocted a frappe with chocolate, caramel, toffee, and peppermint flavorings. I thought it was pretty cool that they were willing to do that for him and even memorized knowing that is what he is going to want every time, and now his little brother does too. They are super, and I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a coffee every once in a while. Sitting right smack dab on Main Street, you can't beat the location. It'll take just a few moments, and you'll be back on the road in no time. Give it a go!!!”

“4-25-2026 updated review:
I still think this is a great little hidden gem, but this time the only disappointment was that their onion rings are no longer what we experienced a couple years ago as whole onions dipped in a light crispy batter and now they are more like Burger King onion rings which are prefabbed without an actual onion slice in the middle. Everything else was great and tasted delicious and it is still a welcoming and friendly establishment!

I would give it a 4.5 if half stars were allowed. Food was very good, but a little under seasoned. Service was excellent, and the bar choices hit the spot for us. A great dive type bar where you feel welcome, can get some very good food, and be treated like a regular even on your first visit.”

Correct name: MEZCAL COCINA MEXICANA #2. **************************************** Our first time to Cafe Mexicana and we WILL go back. We’ve found our favorite Mexican restaurant after being in this area since 2018!!! They have the very BEST chicken enchiladas, because of how they prepare the chicken. It’s shredded, it’s tender, and seasoned to PERFECTION . (So many of the other restaurants have tough chicken that seems to completely lack Mexican styled seasoning). My husband had chili rellenos and said they were the best he’s had in decades! And the portions are ample. The enchiladas are larger than other places. I had to bring home leftovers which is great because I get to enjoy two meals for the price of one. 😋 So glad we decided to try Casa Mexicana. It’s a 10:10!!!ana”

The food and staff were absolutely amazing! we had the brisket platter, the barbecue nachos, and the turkey platter. baked beans, slaw, potato salad and hush puppies. chefs kiss to all of it. “REALLY GOOD FRIED RICE!!!!! Reminded me of my parents' cooking growing up. The rice didnt leave an oily after taste and the pork in the fried rice was fresh. Most place I avoid ordering pork fried rice because the pork meat taste tainted but not at China 1 in Spring Hill. I also ordered House Lomein, the shrimps were large and perfectly cooked. I'd give it three thumbs up and 6 stars if I could. This is an honest review.”
