I was driving down US-411 to visit my wife’s family in Maryville and drove past Countryside. I noticed that the parking lot was full and decided to give it a try.

I had the meatloaf which comes with two sides and a roll. I had mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Everything was amazing. As you can see from my photo you get two big slices of meatloaf and a big bowl of greens.

I make my own meatloaf (my mom‘s recipe) and I can tell you this meatloaf as good if not better than my own. I finished it all off with banana pudding. Don’t get it unless there’s two of you. It’s a huge portion!

I noticed they also have a fresh fish catch of the day. They also have catfish which a lot of people go on about.

Even though it took a very long time to get our pizza she was friendly and kept our drinks full while we waited and also gave us chips while we waited. “I came through the drive thru around 3:30 yesterday. The young lady taking my order was so cheerful! When I got to the window to pay she had a beautiful smile and her tone was great. I pull up to the second window and the employee was pleasant as well. Received my food and it was fresh. The fries were amazing (hot and just the right amount of salt) and the spicy crispy chicken sandwich was perfect. The breading was like it had been fried in an iron skillet. The drive thru moved quicker than I expected too. To the young lady taking my order... thank you for a great attitude. Lisa”

“Restaurant is clean. Food is good quality. Got to the window and the young lady handed me my food, shut the window and disappeared. I had to wait at the window for a few minutes and told there was another drive-through order for them to notice I was there”

“Subway sends out coupons religiously, a good thing! However Vonore doesn't honor but 1 of them, a bad thing. I understood it last year when prices were crazy. I am NOT understanding it now. In fact I won't go back until I know it's different. Get with the program Vonore Subway - honor my coupons.”

“Our group of 7 people stayed at Dragon City June 13th-15th and let me tell you, we were impressed with this gem of a biker resort!!! The hotel rooms were very comfortable, clean, and the decor was perfect!!! We arrived as the restaurant was closing but they greeted us and said they would keep it open so we could enjoy dinner after a long day of traveling through on and off rain. The food was delicious, especially the Philly steak sandwich! We originally heard about this place from Adam Sandoval on Motorcycle Destinations. He was absolutely right about this being a great place to stay! We will most definitely stay here again when we return to ride the Tail of the Dragon and all of the other great roads in the area! I highly recommend Dragon City with 5 out of 5 stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
