I was driving down US-411 to visit my wife’s family in Maryville and drove past Countryside. I noticed that the parking lot was full and decided to give it a try.

I had the meatloaf which comes with two sides and a roll. I had mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Everything was amazing. As you can see from my photo you get two big slices of meatloaf and a big bowl of greens.

I make my own meatloaf (my mom‘s recipe) and I can tell you this meatloaf as good if not better than my own. I finished it all off with banana pudding. Don’t get it unless there’s two of you. It’s a huge portion!

I noticed they also have a fresh fish catch of the day. They also have catfish which a lot of people go on about.

“Our group of 7 people stayed at Dragon City June 13th-15th and let me tell you, we were impressed with this gem of a biker resort!!! The hotel rooms were very comfortable, clean, and the decor was perfect!!! We arrived as the restaurant was closing but they greeted us and said they would keep it open so we could enjoy dinner after a long day of traveling through on and off rain. The food was delicious, especially the Philly steak sandwich! We originally heard about this place from Adam Sandoval on Motorcycle Destinations. He was absolutely right about this being a great place to stay! We will most definitely stay here again when we return to ride the Tail of the Dragon and all of the other great roads in the area! I highly recommend Dragon City with 5 out of 5 stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We love the Latte Love Cafe! It's the perfect stop for a cup of coffee or some fantastic specialty drinks (try the White Chocolate Raspberry Latte, you won't be disappointed!). They also offer a selection of sandwiches which are also delicious.
Perfect atmosphere set in the old Frindsville bank. Indoor and outdoor seating. Check them out, it'll be worth the trip!”

“We went Saturday 1/16/26 at 530pm and the place was packed! Rene was the only server there! Even though it took a very long time to get our pizza she was friendly and kept our drinks full while we waited and also gave us chips while we waited. I felt so bad for her but she handed it like a champ! Thanks Rene!”

I don't like the way they make you pay when you make your order when you walk in. it's has a line for a tip, why would you tip and not been served I tip according to how I was taken care of. this time we hade a very good waitress she checked on us several times through our meal so I left her some cash. “This is the best kept secret around. We have been driving from Tellico Plains to Knoxville for Thai food and now we only go here. The Hunan chicken or beef are outstanding. The crab rangoons are the best I’ve had. The fresh rolls can’t be beat. The Thai noodle soup rocks! 10/10. Must try.”
