“This is a food place to stop and eat. They have a good buffet. The only thing is they don't salt or pepper their vegetables. They had 3 different meats. Bunch of vegetables. Small but nice salad bar. Then dessert. They also have a menu. The prices are good. Street parking right in front of the doors. It's in a really pretty old bank building. I will return.“

“Awesome New York style thin crust pizza with the perfect bubbly-yet-charred crust (they have an actual brick oven to get this effect))and packed with high-quality ingredients. Our server Cassie was excellent as well, informative and attentive, and only added to our enjoyment of our meal. Generous portions at a fair price. Will be back for more!“

“Date of visit: 12/6/2023 Time of visit 7:45amBreakfast at the Greenback Diner in TN. Ate there after dropping Kahlua at PPaws to ummm... lose a little bit of weight. He is going to be one unhappy kitty for a time. How in the world do you keep a crazy cat from zooming and jumping for a week I have no idea. But back to the diner. It is a small place that used to be the towns drug store years ago. Now it has been a diner for years. Staff is very friendly. We were first timers and got treated just like the in town locals which the diner was full of. It is small and was very crowded. That lead to the only drawback of the experience. From placing order to getting our food it was about a half an hour. But we were there pretty early (7:45am) and I imagine breakfast was in full swing. It was starting to clear out a bit by the time we had left. Now on to the good stuff. I was going to order the large pancake and a large biscut and gravy as I could not make up my mind. We had two waitresses. (one in training I guess) They both looked at me and asked if I was sure. I asked why and they explained how big the big pancake really was. So I went with the small and a large biscut and gravy. The wife had 2 eggs over easy, 3 strips of bacon, toast. and hash browns. Her eggs were done to perfection and over easy is not easy to get right. But they did. Bacon just right. She enjoyed her whole meal but could not finish the two slices of toast. Mine was excellent! And oh my gosh! I could not even finish my meal! So a to go tray and I have dinner for tonight. Yes we would recommend people to try. But if you go at breakfast rush just make sure you are not in a hurry. Oh, and the sweet tea is fantastic!“

“The food was delicious. I had the fried sweet tea chicken sandwich. The atmosphere has always been good. Since we went on opening day, we got lucky to get a table right away. But the food, ate ordering, took over one hour to get to us. The price was much more expensive than I expected.“

“I’ve been in the area for a little over a year and somehow tonight was my first time visiting Lampost. The bacon cheeseburger with fried egg was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely be going back to try more stuff on the menu.“

“Great restaurant with a good lunch selection. My wife and I ordered Reuben sandwich and club sandwich with soup and chili. All selections were tasty! Our server Kelsey was very attentive and pleasant. The views of the golf course were super and we were able to get a window seating. We will be back to try other menu items including a pesto flatbread!“

“Stopped in for lunch on our way home traveling through and just made it as the local church crowd started to arrive. Place became full which is a good sign. There were plenty of servers and we were met with a friendly young lady that took care of us. We enjoyed the fried pickles appetizer. I always try to get something unique while traveling and trying new places so I went for the smoked brisket grilled cheese and fries. My word...it was good. Brisket was perfect. Tender, perfect smoke, and a generous portion of meat. Fries were top 5 best I've had. Loved the cut and batter on the fry. Really good. My husband got the country fried steak, potatoes, and okra. Sadly it wasn't as good. Okra frozen style not fresh or cornmeal battered. Potatoes were just standard. Steak was a nice big portion but seemed frozen not house made. Which is pretty normal, but fresh would have been amazing.Atmosphere was ok. Little cramped. Was very close to the folks eating around us, but that's ok. They all knew each other in this small town.Restroom was teeny, but ok.I would definitely go back again if ever traveling through.“
