“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“We went there on 10/18/24 to have a few drinks and before I know it I was hammered. I was kicked out but the bouncer was first class ( older guy kind of buffed). Extremely respectful even after I probably annoyed him. Sorry bro! Great attitude from everyone from bartender to bouncers.“

“Biju was the best hostess and she gave us great service and food! She is THE sweetest person! Wonderful atmosphere and they have great plans for the future of their restaurant. When you visit this place you won’t regret it!
We couldn’t review the dinner options we had with the buttons provided but the dinner cuisine is Indian Nepalese themed. But this did not deter me from trying their offerings. Everything that we tried was wonderful. The presentation was beautifully done and the flavors were wonderful as well.“

“The lady that made my drink let me try the Liquid Marijuana and it was amazing. I don't even drink alcohol like that and I could barely taste the vodka in it and my wife had a Margarita/hypnotic mix that was pretty nice and I told the server that I was going home to blow my wife's back out too and that's exactly what I did too ???. “We just had the most wonderful experience at Hillside Tavern. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was chill enough that we were able to bring our 11-year-old niece to eat with us. The service was top notch. Chad and his team are doing an incredible job and we’ll be back very soon to try out the rest of that awesome menu!“
“Good neighborhood hole in the wall. DJ Playing all kinds of music. Live Tejano/Spanish type music on Saturdays. Very casual dress code. Bring your own liquor bottle as they only serve beer and set ups. Need about 1 or 2 more restrooms. Front patio. Clientele is more of the blue collar type of people. Not to bad of a place. Hardly ever any drama there since the crowd is mostly 35 and up.“

Although the staff was friendly during my visit for dinner, the wait time of one hour for reheated frozen and canned food was excessive. “Really 3.9.. food was presented well. Be prepared to be confused. You will be served by 4 different people asking if someone took your order. And wait about 15 mins before that even happens. They do take awhile to get things done. I asked for a Togo box that never showed up and got what looked like one egg for a $17 meal. The service needs some work or else this would be a decent place .“
“Love coming here for a quick bite. Beats having to spend half my lunch hour driving to and from places. The cafe manager is so sweet and makes sure everyone is taken care of. My faves are the chicken fried chicken, lasagna and catfish. When I'm in a healthy mood I hit the salad bar! They even have ice cream.“

THE GOOD NEWS IS REMODEL IS TOP NOTCH AND THE EVEN BETTER NEWS IS THE NEW OWNERS HAD THE GOOD SENSE TO KEEP THE OLD MILO'S STAFF INTACT SO THE FOOD AND SERVICE REMAINS TOP NOTCH. The seafood stew was delicious, and the Gunyang Dal beer was all really delicious ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
