I honestly wish I had discovered this vegetarian restaurant sooner—everything was absolutely amazing, a solid 10/10! The grilled vegetarian “fish” was outstanding, and the highlight for me was a brand-new dish: snails stir-fried with coconut milk. The owner kindly made it especially for us to try even though it’s not on the menu yet, and it was incredibly delicious.
The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and very relaxing, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, the owner’s hospitality was truly exceptional and made us feel so welcome.
I’ll definitely be back tomorrow with my son—especially since they’re offering a take-out promotion (and I can never say no to great food and a good deal!). Highly, highly recommended!“

“My parents and I visited Aga’s restaurant and were amazed at not only the quality of food but also the service. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiter Khatija was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The floor manager took his time to welcome my family and made it his main priority to adjust everything to our liking. Especially nowadays with COVID-19, it’s hard to find a clean but comfortable restaurant environment I felt like my family was number 1. Also, it felt like I was over at family or friends. “1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

“This was an unexpected, and delightful find, on the service road just inside the Loop near Westheimer.
From the outside, I expected to walk into a little shopping center diner. What we walked into, was a chic bar setting, with various seating arrangements, including trios of love seats around tables, in lieu of booths. My girlfriend thought it was romantic.
At first, I thought it was a salad bar where one would order a bowl and take it to a table, but we were soon seated and handed menus.
There is no animal protein offered, hence the name: “just Falafel”.
What we got was a culinary delight! A robust lentil soup, a gorgeous beet hummus, and a beautiful rice pilaf topped with roasted tomatoes, onions, and falafel.
Although we did not try any of the cocktails, the offerings looked really good. My girlfriend got a delicious spiced mocha with cinnamon, and cayenne!“

“After seeing on television that the restaurant won a James Beard award, I put it on my list of places to go. The expectations were pretty high, and our party was not disappointed. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves“

“We were in the area for an Artwalk event so we Googled for a place nearby we could satisfy our sushi craving. Wow! What a fantastic find! Jellyfish is located on busy Ella Blvd in a very modest inconspicuous shopping strip - if you’re not looking, you’re going to miss it. Don’t miss out though!! This place has delicious food and you’ll experience excellent service. Everything was super fresh and prepared to perfection. I enjoyed the hibachi steak/chicken, grilled veggies & steamed rice. The meats were tender as were the veggies perfectly grilled & seasoned as well. We shared a roll of Sushi that was masterfully prepared by cooks that know how to do it. The restaurant is simple inside but kept very clean. We had no problem with parking. Restrooms very clean. We will return and recommend Jellyfish to others for fresh authentic Japanese cuisine.“

This is a place you come to for the quality of the fish. We had 2 orders of the avocado balls with spicy tuna, so good. Chutoro and ocean trout sashimi, it was so tender and the taste so uniquely fresh. We tried the chef’s deluxe nigiri, none of the cuts disappointed. The hamachi appetizer was also very good. Our last dish was the lobster Osaka box, my favorite roll in the whole wide world! Still as satisfying as the first time I had it.

It’s a sushi restaurant with style and atmosphere, a great date night spot. 100% recommended, over and over again.“
