“The Czech Stop in West, Texas, is an absolute legend, and making a pit stop here is an unnegotiable rule every single time we drive by. No matter how busy it gets, we always pull off the highway to stock up on their famous kolaches and klobasneks.
The food is consistently amazing. The dough is soft, sweet, and baked to perfection, and the fillings—from classic prune and poppy seed to savory sausage, jalapeno, and cheese—are top-notch. It is fast, delicious, and easily one of the best roadside stops in Texas. You simply cannot drive past without grabbing a box or two for the road.”

My favorite food i had was the buttery garlic potatoes and cornbread salad was delicious. He also gave everyone free banana pudding when i tell you it was so so good yall. “Slovaceks has decent baked goods. Sausage is good. Beware of brisket (ask for it to be trimmed well of fat). Good selection of highway rest stop commercial items of many types. Good place to stop before hitting the Waco area if you are Southbound on I-35.”

“What an awesome find!! Love the authentic atmosphere. They are genuine locals with license plates in the floor to patch the holes! Stop by and get a beer. Nothing to eat here, so take care of that before or after. Local bands play on weekends, looking forward to making it for that.”

Girl behind the counter was super sweet. Young with a delightful welcoming smile. She greeted us coming in and thanked us when leaving.

Portions are huge with whatever you order entree wise. So you can share or take left overs home. Definately get your money's worth!

I've had the pizza it's really good. They offer a lot more menu options that are not pizza, others with me ordered. Burgers and sandwiches were amazing.

They also have this deal with one day old pastries. You can get a box for 5 dollars or 6 boxes for 20!!! Including their giant cinnamon/ cake rolls. The one with regular pastries have like 6-8 in one box. Best deal ever! Get 6 and freeze some for later. Or get some for family, youth group, adult bible study...

I also found out they give back to charity too. A business I can get behind for sure. Support local and come to The Pizza House.”

“They are now a food truck and take out only. When step out of your car the aroma of meat and smoke take over your senses. The Texas Twinkie is huge and for is the best thing on the menu. In fact it is the best that I’ve had over the Top 50 Texas monthly. The brisket is tallow free so go with the moist. The bark is well seasoned, flavorful, and you can taste the smoke. The ribs and sausage are decent. Overall if you love the smoke flavor then you’ll love the bbq.”
