“Shout out to Taco Casa Abilene on Buffalo Gap Road. We went and ate lunch and everything was great. I’m picky and like a bean burrito with not a ton of beans and the kitchen showed me the burrito before rolling it to see if that was how I wanted it. Then a man that worked there I guess noticed I didn’t finish my food and brought me a sack to take it home with me so it was easier to carry since I had a baby with me, he did this without me saying a word about needing one just thinking he’d make things easier on me to carry. So thoughtful. The place was super clean and the environment was great unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. They take pride in what they’re putting out and you don’t see that much nowadays especially in fast food.“

I judge a Mexican food place by their salsa and will often pick where I want to eat based on how much I like their salsa, since I add it to my tacos and mix it with queso when eating chips.“

“My youngest son and I go there regularly. I try different Tacos every time and have liked every one I have tried. I always get some queso and normally the Taco of the Month and have not been disappointed!“

“Me and my boyfriend came in on a very busy Saturday night, even though there was a wait they were able to get us seated on a small high top. Our chips and queso came as we were still ordering our food. We got a qp burger and a triple dipper. The beer and shot we ordered came out immediately. The server, Chris B. wanted to warn us it might be a wait because of how busy it is, but there wasn’t a delay on the food at all. It came out fresh and crispy. Our server, Chris B, and the manager Chelsea were great, awesome attitude, super attentive, friendly, and they made the whole experience even better than it always is. Great location! Keep it up!! “First off I absolutely LOVE Chuys! I would go to the one in San Antonio and would look forward to it but now I am over the moon that my city has a Chuys of their own! ❤️🙌. I have been to Chuys a lot since they opened. Dining in I have always received Great service every single time! All of the staff has been amazing! The only issue I've had (that was fixed very quickly the last time it happened) was curbside pick up. Small issue of just getting my order wrong on one side but the manager made it right and was willing to speak with me and listen! Which I knew they would. It is so awesome to have a restaurant who is willing to grow and always looking to improve! Marcella was wonderful and I know Chuys is in great hands with her! She had told me to ask for her the next time I was in but I forgot but she came to me to meet me and make sure everything was great which it was! She was so sweet listening to the past issue. It was my friends first time trying Chuys and she loved it! Thank you for going above and beyond for your customers! The food is always delicious! My favorite is the Deluxe chicken topped with Deluxe tomatia sauce and double rice. The green Chile rice is my favorite! My next favorite is the appetizer plate I love the many options it comes with! My fiance loves the Deluxe chuychanga! Even the chicken strips are amazing! I love that the root beer comes in a bottle The Best! The shrimp tacos are Amazing!!!! The chicken torilla soup was so delicious! The Guacamole is good but could use some garlic salt and then itll be amazing! The frozen strawberry/lime swirl is delicious and my favorite! The prices are awesome never change!“

“I think the servers name was Kayshawn We’ve been dining here for over 10 years. He has got to be the absolute best server we’ve ever had. Along with training a newbie , he was polite to her while training and still doing his thing. He’s management material without a doubt.“

“I love eating at Sharky’s. Great customer service and cleanliness. Each employee holds a light conversation with you while they prepare your food. Also, great prices very reasonable. “My husband wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. We were a large group of 25 people. Our first choice was Casa Herrera. We called an hour before going and were informed they don’t take reservations, which we knew, but we wanted to give them a heads up. We arrived and were told in a not friendly tone that they couldn’t provide service for 25 people because they didn’t have the room and didn’t want to overwhelm the server. The overall feeling was not welcoming at all. They should have told us over the phone when we called that they could not accommodate us. So my husband called El Chico and they welcomed us with open arms. By the time we got over there, our table was ready and we were greeted with smiles all around. Our server, Severina, was AMAZING! She kept our drinks filled, food came out quickly for such a large party and she always had a smile on her face! Caesar(hopefully I spelled that right), was so accommodating and even gave us FREE QUESO! He was so apologetic for how the other restaurant treated us but was so happy we chose his restaurant. We usually go out as a large group at least every other month if not more often. We were told by Severina that we are all welcome back anytime! We are already planning our next get together!
