“Don't be put off by the odd strip mall this place is in. There is a reason this is one of the oldest Ethiopian restaurants in town.. Get Sambusa to start. These fried meat dumplings are great. The Yebeg Watt is always delicious and of couse I love injera (Ethiopian bread).There are plenty if vegetarian and vegan options. The white table linen creates a great atmosphere without being too formal. The service can be a bit slow but this is a family place not a chain restaurant looking to turn the table quickly.“

It's a little hard to find as the entry doesn't face eastbound Park Lane, but well worth the trip.The dining area is small and functional. “I was coming back from a ride and decided to try this restaurant as it was close to my home and new to me. This was the first time in years that I had had Ethiopian food. I’m telling you it was a great way to return.Their Geba Weta is a great dish. I’m sure all of the others are just as good. “I have been coming here for a long time, and this place never disappoints me. Me and my mom come here for brunch a lot, and the foods always come fresh!! I usually eat fritata, buna (coffee) and tiramisu, and we always buy cake for occasions at this place!“

The atmosphere was great for our party - we had about 13 people with us and the food came out on time for us all. We enjoyed drinks with the owner and overall had a great time. “This hidden gem is a must try! The restaurant is inside of the grocery store. Although, the interior isn't as appealing as your traditional restaurant, the food is delicious. The flavors are exquisite, especially the lamb tibs, with the following sides: collard greens, beets and cabbage and potatoes. Your palate will thank you. Better than some of the popular Ethiopian restaurants.“

“In fairness, I hadn't had Ethiopian food before this visit so I can't compare to other Ethiopian places. However, the food was AMAZING! “This was my first experience with Ethiopian dishes. I enjoyed the flavors, spices, and presentation. The best part was eating with your natural born utensils, your hands. The injera (pancake-like flatbread) is used to scoop the food to eat. This is a uber casual mom and pop atmosphere. You can watch sports near the bar area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The portions are plentiful. This is a good place to meet up with friends and family to eat.Vegetarian options: The meatless options are usually lentils, peas, beans, green leafy veggies, and herbs.“
