“First time checking out The Tipsy Chicken on a Thursday and had a great time. Sophie and Amber were fantastic behind the bar — friendly, quick, and easy to talk to. Ryan and John were great company too, fun to swap stories with and hear about the local scene. Shoutout to the KJ for starting my night off right — after my first song he sent me over for a free shot, which Amber poured up. Little touches like that really make a place memorable. As someone who’s been in the DJ/KJ world for years, I’ve seen slow nights turn into packed houses with just a few creative twists: • “First-time singer” spotlights to get shy guests up. • Small bar tab or drink ticket for the crowd favorite performance. • Short themed rounds (“90’s throwbacks,” “duet challenge”) to keep things fresh. The Tipsy Chicken has an awesome base of people and staff — it wouldn’t take much to make Thursdays one of the busiest nights in town. I’ll definitely be back. “Me & Wifey went for the 1st time bout a month ago. The original wings and the sweet potato fries are pretty good. The highlight for us tho are the drinks they are strong and good kool place to go if you wanna just chill and have a few drinks“

“About maybe 13-15 years ago I came here from England after seeing a friend in Dallas. Some dude walked in with a guitar, got on stage, asked if there were any musicians in the audience and eventually put together 4-5 other people who, after speaking for perhaps 10 minutes, played the most incredible, Pink Floyd / Blues music I’d ever heard. I was blown away. As the guy left later that night, I asked what his name was and he said “Buck.” And he signed me a Dollar that said “thanks for coming to listen to Texas Blues” and I’ve only just found that Dollar, that’s why I’m writing this review now. But I never forgot that night. I asked how it was possible that strangers could play the best blues music after just a few minutes of talking and he said “we just agreed to play in the key of C”. As a non musician, that stuck with me. Now I play guitar and it’s all thanks to Buck. So, wherever you are, buddy. You’re remembered fondly by an English dude who met you over a decade ago.“

“We got a new waitress this time. She is polite and everything, but doesn't know the menu very well and double charged us for a glass of wine. We were disappointed at first, then our usual waiter came along. He made the difference: bring us the usual dish, taking care of our requests quickly... We still love this place!“

Despite the Tide in Texas group deciding they would no longer "host" parties, Alabama fans are still welcome to come! “When we went we were the only ones dining there so we didn't have to wait for a table. Our food server Rogelio was very professional and courteous. Food prices were very reasonable and they have a pretty good variety of items on their menu. I just had a basic hamburger and it was well prepared and very tasty. My dinner companion had the grilled salmon with steam vegetables and mashed potatoes, and she liked it as well. Overall it's a nice little restaurant in the lobby of the hotel.“

“The dog-friendly, covered patio was cool. The server treated our dog well. We had pizza and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Service in general was good. It was a Sunday evening and they had some poker tables going, which were filled with mostly women. We’d love to go back.“
