When I got to the drive-thru, there was a bit of a wait, but the team made up for it by including an extra 4-piece nugget in my order. “This place was extremely busy because of the 75-cent Whataburger deal. They did get a couple things wrong like not putting cheese on our burgers and it took an hour to get my food but it's not usually like that it's just because they had a super good deal going on for their 75th anniversary”

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.”

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!”

HUGE shout out to the workers on the shift around 1ish. Even though they were in a huge rush they still made my drinks amazing and in a timely manner. It was really busy in there but I love how they always kept a smile on their faces and made the customers laugh/smile!! “My husband and I had such a wonderful experience here tonight. From the moment we sat down, the service truly stood out. Our waitress, Courtney, was attentive, kind, and made us feel so welcome. The bartender, Alexa, even stopped by our table and was incredibly personable. She spoke so genuinely and passionately about the General Manager, Chris and the positive environment he’s created, it honestly moved me to tears. You could tell she feels truly blessed to work here, and that says everything about the culture behind the scenes.

Now for the food… the tomato basil soup was ah-mazing, comforting, flavorful, and easily one of the best I’ve had. My husband ordered the Meat-a-Baller and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was, so of course I had to sneak a bite (or three). He wasn’t wrong!

We’re also excited to see the upcoming expansion into the neighboring space, especially with plans for live music and karaoke. This is such a great spot for Alvin, Texas, and we can’t wait to come back and see it grow.
