The owners are great people and make sure that the customers are treated with respect and courtesy. If you have a bad experience, you probably brought it with you.“

“Girl on a business trip googles “pool hall”. Not sure how wise this is in a strange town, she Ubers over to Damifino anyway… excited to see they are running a small weekly tournament. They are pool players, right?? Pool players are good people, usually, from her experience. She is greeted by helpful and friendly bartender Tucker who makes her feel right at home. Josh, at the bar, gives her the lowdown on the tournament and the players. She warms up with Dave (who is good) and Bobby (who is better!) and is impressed with the Diamond tables, the attention to cleanliness and comfort (smoke eaters, shiny balls, clean felt, high chairs for good viewing, chalk dispensers mounted randomly throughout), and even the house cue she’d picked up to shoot with. Though that didn’t last long, because about by the second round, the owner’s son Aubrey offered her choice of one his sticks to shoot with - she picked a Predator with a BK shaft! The hospitality and welcoming atmosphere of the entire crowd (the “small” tournament ended up with about 25 players!) was overwhelming - and capped off by the owner Bubba saving her Uber/cab fee and giving her a ride back to her hotel (yes a$$holes - JUST a ride!! Lol). She will be back on her next business trip (and will be packing her own cue!)…looking forward to it. Thank you all for such a great time. 🥰🥰“

“This is a cute little spot and not too expensive either which is a plus I just disliked the fact that there’s no medal detector or people getting wand down for any weapons. When I went live band was there and they were good and loved that they took breaks and played some regular songs and line dancing.“

“As a traveler for construction and here in town for about year and half this is the place for me. Great pool tables, good down to earth people, and the staff is spot on. This will be my home away from home during my time here. When we have visitors on the job site, guess where i am going to bring them for an after-work drink "ROADHOUSE" did i need to say hahahahahaha“

“We had a wonderful brunch experience at Asiel’s in Lake Jackson. This was our first time visiting, and from the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our waitress, Jeff Jess, was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. Since we had never been before, she took the time to give us her opinions on several menu items, which we truly appreciated and ended up loving.
The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes including pancakes, omelets, and classic eggs and bacon with toast, and everything was cooked perfectly. I even enjoyed a mimosa, which was a great addition to brunch.
One of our favorite parts of the experience was the atmosphere and the history. Our children especially loved learning about the mammoth that was discovered in the pit that has since become the lake the restaurant overlooks. It turned our meal into a fun history lesson for them while we dined.
We were extremely happy with both the service and the food and will absolutely be returning as regulars. Asiel’s is a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking for a welcoming brunch experience.“
