“my boys really enjoyed it but I thought the chicken was too hard in some spots and extremely dry and way too much powder and the Mac and cheese was super watery and like warm 😞 I was so excited to try it for the first time. maybe it was just a bad first experience. This was the Appleton Wisconsin location near the Fox River Mall. Customer service was wonderful though“

“I can’t say enough about the amazing customer service we received tonight at Slim Chickens! My husband and I came in about 25 minutes before closing (which I felt bad about, especially ordering chicken and waffles), but Peyton Hyatt and Esmeralda Salazar never made us feel like an inconvenience. They greeted us with genuine kindness, no attitude, no rush—just great hospitality.

While we were waiting, I noticed banana pudding jars in the window and asked about them. Peyton not only showed me the pudding, but also pointed out the other dessert options they had available. As my husband and I talked, Peyton and Esmeralda decided among themselves that they wanted to surprise me—and they bought me a banana pudding out of their own pocket! That kind of thoughtfulness and kindness is rare these days and it truly made my night.

These ladies went above and beyond with their customer service, turning what could have been an ordinary late-night stop into a memorable experience. Slim Chickens is lucky to have employees like Peyton and Esmeralda. They definitely deserve recognition (and a raise!) for representing the brand with so much heart.

“We loveeeeeee this place from my 8 yr old to my 42 yr old self. Today, we took my daughter's friend for her first time, she loved it too. We went for the katseye Korean BBQ cola, the sandwich was great. My husband had the bucket of it. I am Mexican American and my husband Filipino American, my kids are medicines. We love Jollibee. The only constructive criticism I could give is that they need to speed up.“

“This place has been here since the 90s, but I started going here in the 2010s. The main food thing here is fried chicken and french fries which are good, I go for the chicken tenders which are always served fresh. There are other options like fried rice, mashed potatoes, and lemon cake. At one point they sold a chicken tender/shrimp salad, I loved the chicken tender salad. The prices are fair so if you want a good value for your money try this place, you will find something to like. And also they got 1 of the best Kool Aids, OH YEAH!“
