I also feel in love with the kids they show the same warmeth of there parents and grand parents. This is my place to go for delicious soul food and will tell any one that don't live in the area take a drive and stop here to eat or take out.It is a gift for my family and I.“

“My husband and I had date night tonight and decided to go to one of our fav spots, again. We've been going to Brandani's for almost 10 years. As always...our experience was superb, so I am taking a moment to give a review:). We're ALWAYS happy. The staff is top notch, the menu is consistently delish, we love the atmosphere, and it's a sweet bonus to be greeted by the Brandani's themselves. Whenever we find ourselves free to have a date night we can always rely on Brandani's for a lovely evening. Well, I somehow bumped my glass of red wine and it splattered all over my face and shirt tonight...but because the Brandani staff is so wonderful and we feel at home, it was easy to laugh off and continue to enjoy our evening together. “Turning up after 2pm the place was not busy. The waitstaff had the opportunity of being attentive and the food turned up relatively swiftly and piping hot. It had not been left sitting on the kitchen hatch for any length of time. We started with the Blooming Onion. Both of us had the filet mignon with a lobster tail and it was perfectly cooked. This is one Outback I’d return to.“

“Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

I got fried chicken appetizer, or I call it popcorn chicken. It was heavily doused in white pepper making the top layer hard to eat. I prefer the seasoning on the side.

Also ordered the beef noodle soup. They were very generous with the beef. And the noodles were fresh and bouncy. The broth is a bit stronger in seasoning than most other places I've had. It's not my favorite as it tastes like herbal soup to me but good portion for the price.“
