Not being from Texas, I would say that this place serves a unique kind of "Mexican" like meal that may require a certain flavor or style to get used to or acquainted. It is not quite Tex-Mex or Del Taco'ish. I can certainly taste the cheddar or American cheese flavor when I noshed on my chicken soft taco. This one is a little difficut to write about since I loved my food and my sister did not care for hers too much. One of the people got an attitude when she complained. But me I was oblivious to it all enjoying my food. Maybe next time she'll order what I recommend.
