“My wife had been recently craving Crab, so I searched Google and discovered this place. I had never heard of it before, but noticed that it had a lot of great reviews. I decided to surprise her by driving her and our 16 year old an hour away from our home to give it a shot & celebrate her birthday. Thankfully, it ended up being all around AMAZING. Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by Shawn, the manager on duty. He was very good at making sure to space out the seating of tables as customers entered so that there wasn’t a wait once being seated. The teamwork & communication was definitely present. All of the employees we encountered were very friendly & accommodating. Our server (Reggie) was AWESOME, to say the least. In addition, all of the food we ordered, from the appetizer to our meals was SO GOOD! Our daughter ordered the Jambalaya and just about licked the bowl clean. My wife and I tried it as well. DELICIOUS!! My wife and I each ordered our own Shrimp & Crab Combo since she’s not big on spice and I LOVE heat! We both chose the GARLIC as our sauce. For our seasoning, she had the MILD & I chose the ANGRY GHOST. To top everything off, the crew gathered and surprised my wife with a happy birthday announcement/song, and a brownie with ice cream. We were all very satisfied with the entire experience and will DEFINITELY be returning to this establishment for more! “I wanted crawfish one day and saw this place on Google and I’m glad I stopped! Those crawfish were EXCELLENT!! Big, juicy and full of flavor! Whenever I’m on da Nawf, I’m goin there for crawfish. We also got the fried catfish basket with shrimp, fries and hush puppies. That was very good as well.“

“For being our first time there it was an awsome experience. We were a group of 19 women who had come from the RGV to a women's conference in Houston Tx. Aside from the food being so so good, Destiny our server was who made it great. She made sure our drinks were always filled and constantly asked if we needed anything. Destiny has a beautiful attitude and her vibe was very positive. Always with a smile on her face. Props to you Cafe Rain Cajun Cafe for having people like her representing your restaurant. “We came here based on the reviews while on this side of town for work. You walk in and don't expect much but the food was really great. The service was quick and to the point. We had vermicelli bowls, some crawfish and got banh mi's to go. All so excellent. I'd definitely go back if I was in that area again.“

“Well, it took 3 attempts (different days) to actually receive this order for 11:45 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. D&L canceled three (3) times because the TOGO order was still cooking. Door Dash could not wait, so they canceled the delivery.I enjoy the Turkey Wings. They are always tender and seasoned. The gravy was delicious, and the cornbread was a winner. I will still order. This is two (2) meals for me. I will bet it weighs 3+ lbs. Delivered piping hot!“

“We were a large group of 30+ people we had an incredible experience at Captain Crawfish! From being able to make a reservation for a large group, to then calling back and us having to change the date to the next day, to having tables ready when we arrived and group together to the food and service, this restaurant showed us outstanding hospitality all the way. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. It was a fantastic experience for our entire team. We wish we lived in Houston or we would visit more. But our list for when we come back each year for our trip.“
