Fries, spicy fried pickles, and the wings were all great. I try to get a new burger every time I go and I’m yet to have one I didn’t like. They also do a monthly burger which is cool. Good spot!“

“I have visited The Apron a few times over the past several months, and each visit continues to remind me of why it remains one of my favorite places for breakfast and brunch in Frisco. The ambiance immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. The warm, contemporary decor, and soft lighting, creates a cozy atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal alone or with family and friends. Whether seated indoors or on the outdoor patio, the environment invites you to slow down and savor every moment. The staff is consistently attentive, courteous, and welcoming. On one of my early visits, I ordered the Brisket Benedict, the brisket was rich, smoky, and tender and paired beautifully with the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Since then, the menu has changed slightly, and the Benedict now features ham in place of brisket. While I did miss the smoked brisket, the ham version was still satisfying. The ham was thick sliced and tasty, and didn’t take away from the texture or flavor of the dish.
Another one of my favorites has been the pancakes. They are light, airy, and perfectly golden with a subtly crisp edge. The portion size is very generous and they have a delicately sweet flavor that pairs beautifully with maple syrup and fresh fruit. These pancakes are the epitome of comfort food for anyone seeking comfort as they are most indulgent.

The avocado toast was pleasant, though not a personal favorite. It has a good balance of flavors, but compared to the other items, it felt somewhat underwhelming.The breakfast tacos, however, were delicious and satisfying. They were generously filled with brisket, fluffy scrambled eggs, and some seasonings that offered a gentle kick without overwhelming. I choose the fresh fruit cup as a side for each dish, and though it required a small upcharge, the fruit was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented.

One of my favorite things about this restaurant is its outdoor patio, which overlooks the lush greens of the golf course. The serene ambiance is enhanced by the gentle sounds of a nearby waterfall and the sight of native hummingbirds and butterflies fluttering among the vibrant landscaping. On one particularly memorable morning, we even spotted a hot air balloon drifting overhead, it was an unexpected delight that perfectly captured the magic of this location.

Finally, the hotel itself is stunning, with elegant architectural details and cozy sitting areas. The valet staff is phenomenal, they are efficient, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile.

“Wow! Is there an option for more than 5 stars? The bartender made an absolutely fabulous, one-of-a-kind smoked old fashioned. The steak... I've paid three times the price for a meal with a fraction of the quality of this one. The meat was so tender that my steak knife was purely decorative, and the flavor was out of this world. Au jus or A1 need not apply, this thing was juicy and absolutely perfect. I cannot believe of all the restaurants I've come across in my travels that the Hilton Garden Inn would rank in my top 3, but this was truly fabulous! 12/10! 👏👏“

I’m reviewing this for their breakfast/brunch

Food: 4.2
A very good brunch/breakfast spot. I ordered an array to really get a feel for the place. The menu is extravagant..took me some time. The flap jack was great. Huge portion, great flavor. Not too dry. Biscuits and sausage gravy were good. Biscuit was soft/thick and gravy was a good consistency. The bacon wasn’t as crispy as I like and was thicker cut, so had a bit of a meaty chew to it. The fried potatoes were delicious and crispy. Honestly probably the best ones I’ve had, most places are soggy. The ham was mid. Not my favorite. I ordered over easy eggs and they were very watery once cut. The whites weren’t done (sigh). Waitress quickly brought me over medium (Which shouldn’t be the doneness of the white. Over easy eggs have a runny yolk, while over medium eggs have a slightly more cooked, jammy yolk). Nonetheless they were better and more so what the over easy should have been. Be advised when ordering them this way. Ramsey does say a true test for a chef is make him cook an egg! French toast was excellent, and the fruit was fresh. Other than the egg debacle, I can see why so many people eat here. Huge portions, large menu to cater to a lot of different people, and the food is well above chain breakfast spots. Not innovative, but good!

Nothing spectacular here to report, but the job was done. She asked how our food was and I gave my feedback on the eggs. She quickly offered to remake them.

I ate here for Tuesday brunch. It was still pretty busy and loud. They have lots of seating (booths as well). It appeared clean. Decor gives me Cracker Barrel vibes. Lots of families, kids, & babies. If this describes you, you’ll fit in just fine! Hard to find places to bring kids/big families, and this is a good breakfast spot with a menu that will appeal to a lot of variety of people. If you’re looking for a romantic brunch spot though this isn’t the place.

Good breakfast/brunch spot for Denton, and can see why so many people eat here. It’s not on my best breakfast spots, but it’s well above mid. Bring your appetite!“

So wouldn’t you know it, I find out there’s another one just about 10 minutes from my auto detailing & ceramic coating business in Little Elm. Talk about a win! Same awesome vibe, great food, and a huge beer selection that never disappoints. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, hanging with friends, or just winding down after work, this place nails it. Can’t recommend The Brass Tap enough — Frisco and Prosper both have solid teams running these spots!“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.
