“My quandary: give Hannah’s the rave review it deserves and risk not being able to get a table on a Saturday night or just pretend we never made it to dinner? Looking for a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, my wife made a reservation at this gem in Denton and we were not disappointed. Our table was laid out with rose petals to celebrate the occasion and the staff wished us a Happy Anniversary. The menu had a multitude of items that sounded mouth-watering, so the decision making process was tortuous. We settled on bacon wrapped dates and steamed mussels as appetizers. The dates were moist and the bacon crispy, a perfect bite of sweet and salty. The mussels were perfectly steamed with a delicious broth and the perfect crispy, warm French bread to sop it up. A great start. My wife ordered Beef Cheek stuffed Ravioli, remembering how much she loved the beef cheeks we first ate in Spain. Ground meat in the ravioli topped with a perfect ragu of tomatoes, beef cheek, and vegetables. I am drawn to duck whenever I see it on the menu and the Rosemary smoked Duck Breast was cooked to perfection; crispy skin, juicy meat, and a sun dried cherry pico tart enough to complement its maple syrup glaze. The sliced duck breast was served atop a wild rice and vegetable pancake that was unique and perhaps the star of the dish. Come on, who wouldn’t love pancakes for dinner? A couple glasses of wine with dinner, a slice of award winning carrot cake for desert with an espresso, and exquisite service all evening long made for an ideal anniversary celebration. Thank you to the kitchen staff and everyone in the front of the house and remember to save us a table on Saturday nights. See you soon.“

“This is our 4th time at this restaurant and every time was a wonderful experience. All the waiters and waitresses make a comfortable and relaxing environment. My family and I came here for my daughter’s birthday and they treated her warmly. They kindly offered her a dessert for the birthday occasion and were insistent on it. The waitress that served us last time, Staci, gladly welcomed us and treated us kindly, like family. Thank you to the manager Vonda, for checking in on us and our visit and making sure we were enjoying our stay. A blend of american and mexican food was there with a good range of burgers, sandwiches and quesadillas. The owner was very kind and ensured that our order is served on time. He also offered us complimentary pakistani style tea (a rare thing to find in USA) and a coffee as well.

Next time I would try a different side. My wife got the burger. The bun was fresh and flavorful but the burger was a bit dry. She did like the ranch dressing that came with the side salad.“

Tower Tap House in Little Elm offers more than just a scenic lakeside view—it's a great spot for casual eats and good vibes. On a recent visit, I sampled the stuffed jalapeños and the chef salad, and both dishes impressed me.

The stuffed jalapeños were a perfect blend of spicy and savory. Packed with a creamy filling, likely a mix of cheese and sausage, they had a satisfying kick without being overpoweringly hot. The crispy outer layer added a delightful crunch, and they were served with a dipping sauce that complemented the flavors nicely. If you're a fan of jalapeño poppers, these are a must-try.

On the lighter side, the chef salad was fresh and well-executed. It came loaded with generous portions of grilled chicken, cheese, boiled eggs, and crisp vegetables. The greens were fresh and crunchy, and the salad itself was big enough to be a full meal. It was a great option for something healthier yet filling, especially paired with the beautiful waterside views. Hydros is next door and they have water skiers of all talents going around the lake.

The casual, laid-back atmosphere at Tower Tap House makes it a great spot to unwind, whether you're grabbing drinks with friends or enjoying a meal with family. With the combination of quality food and the scenic lakeside location, it's definitely worth a visit when in Little Elm. It definitely has an Austin vibe! They have indoor and outdoor seating, yesterday was such a gorgeous day that I enjoyed sitting on the patio with a book. I’ve been to Tower Tap House many times over the years, definitely one of my favorites!

One of our ladies was in a wheelchair so he provided a low top table for her. Our waitress worked hard and was cheerful and cute. The music was turned down slightly so everyone could talk. The food was good. We were there early on a Monday which was a great time as the restaurant was not crowded. A number of the ladies commented that they had a fun time.
