deliciously fresh everyday
To B-CAT--Other than the many authentic Czech fruit (i.e. meatless) kolache offered, I'm curious as to what kind of meatless variety could be offered: tofu? tofurky? vegetable? I'm sorry, but I'm Czech, and that's NOT a kolach. If that's what you want, you'll need to look elsewhere. And to JDLG1983--kolache are a completely different animal than donuts (and far superior IMO), so there's no comparison.
The single slice a pizza was delicious, so would totally come back.

Austin Kolache Pizza & Koffee is highly praised for offering authentic and delicious kolaches, especially the klobasneks, which are considered the best in Austin. Customers appreciate the traditional Czech-Texan style, with fully enclosed sausage and dough, unlike the exposed hot dog style found elsewhere. The bread is sweet, and the sausage quality is excellent, using real sausage rather than hot dogs. The place features a clean space with quiet coffee shop vibes, creating a comforting environment for dining. The owner is described as very sweet, contributing to the friendly and respectful Texan atmosphere. The menu includes a variety of options such as the Big Daddy Polish, bacon and cheddar kolaches, as well as pizza slices with a soft crust, perfect for sharing or taking home. The lunch special offers two large pizza slices and a drink for just $8, making it a convenient and affordable choice. Customers also enjoy buying kolaches for meetings and family gatherings. Overall, Austin Kolache Pizza & Koffee is celebrated for its authentic, flavorful kolaches and pizza, making it a must-visit spot for those craving quality Czech-Texan baked goods in Austin.
