I’ve been here before with my family so I knew the food was incredible but our server John’s recommendations and commitment to us having a great dining experience was what made our night. I’ve worked in upscale dining for many years and I always strive to be like him for our guests! I know I already said I wasn’t surprised by the food being good- but my boyfriend ordered the redfish (one of the more expensive dishes at $38 dollars) and was completely blown away! I never justify ordering the pricier dishes on any menu so believe me when I say this was truly worth every cent. We also had the mussels and the braised beef shoulder and loved every bite!“

“We had a fantastic time at Drinkwell; on the drive back, we could not stop raving about it from the drinks, to the service and food. Every drink we got was thoughtful, unique, and incredibly well balanced. I got the Buzzed Lightyear which was bright and refreshing and then the Bamboo Highball which was a surprise favorite of the night! My friend ordered the Halfmoon Bay which was a great take on a whiskey sour as well as a second gin-based drink that she also enjoyed. Additionally, both our servers did a great job and made sure to check on us frequently without ever interrupting. The atmosphere is comfortable and it was not too loud even on a Friday night.

I hadn't eaten dinner and ordered the chicken sandwich not expecting anything special. However, this sandwich was so good and was maybe one of the best I've had in Austin. The chicken was both incredibly crisp and juicy and had a generous portion of slaw and pickles on it. The fries were also amazing and while we didn't order any other food, we've heard from friends that the burger is also great. While we didn't come for food, the sandwich was so good I would almost come back for just that... really an amazing surprise!“

“We went on a Friday evening and it was not crowded at all. The employees said hi when my kids and I walked in, and we just grabbed a seat at a picnic table out back. The guy serving us was very friendly, attentive and on top of things, although there was one guy who originally sat us who didn't seem to care to be there and didn't know the answers to any of my questions. Thank goodness it was happy hour because the prices are pretty high for their dinner menu. We got a pizza for half off and some $ off the margaritas which made it affordable. The food was good, especially the brussels sprouts we ordered, and although some of the main menu items looked delicious, I just couldn't justify spending that much. The outside area was a great place for kids with an open turfed area, playground, roller coaster car tracks, covered patio, and picnic tables. It was a good time!“
