“After waiting 13 years to make it over here, this was truly a memorable experience. We had some wonderful starters – in my opinion the famous fries need a little bit of attention to detail (the 110 min egg was perfect, béarnaise was on point) – but there were so many pleasant surprises that that was an afterthought. Cocktails were fantastic, decent wine list, and the entrees were fantastic. If they have the bananas foster beignet's definitely do not miss that, dessert stole the show. Kudos to our affable and skilled waiter, Anthony, a true pro.“

“This is one of the best cocktail bars in Austin. I wish I could go here every night. It’s a cozy yet classy atmosphere, and there’s always a fun movie playing behind the bar.

The bar program has been nationally recognized, and the drinks are so tasty, complex, and unique. I try to grab a different cocktail every visit because they work so hard to craft recipes for every new menu, and I have never had a bad drink there.

Everyone is always so friendly, too. I love the staff here. They are always willing to answer questions or start up a conversation. Visit the bar. I promise, you won’t regret it.“

“Food was great and good price for the size. Service is so incredibly slow and we didn’t go here at all peak time. Took about 20/30 minutes to even get our order placed. Both the servers were nice but just had no sense of urgency or ability to multitask. We also have additional charges on our cards (which is currently being resolved by the manager) when my bill was only supposed to be $20 but my card has an extra $4 I assume the bartender added a tip himself as he didn’t give us a receipt for anything or anything to sign I hope this wasn’t the case but both my friend and I have these additional chargers her being $7 extra. We did not have a tab and closed out immediately. I very much appreciate the manager taking my call and saying he would look into this but again I really hope we didn’t have someone tipping themselves on someone’s card and he was very insistent on us paying with card even though we had cash but we assumed it might be easier so we were okay with the card just a bit concerning but again atmosphere is great so are the prices very fun place just make sure you get a receipt for everything.“

“Came to Roaring Fork in Austin excited to try their 22 oz ribeye, especially since the menu says it's cooked on their open flame grill. I was really looking forward to that flame-grilled flavor, but instead it came cooked in a cast iron pan and basted. It's not that the steak was bad, but it wasn't what I ordered or expected. Nowhere on the menu does it say it's cooked in a skillet, so it was pretty disappointing. Would've liked to know before ordering. I took a large party spent over $650+ and left disappointed in my steak but everything else was great! I'll be back but this time I'll make sure to remind them about fire grilling my steak!“

“I randomly chose this restaurant close the the walking trail to grab a snack and quick drink! The vibe is phenomenal! Feels like I am in a beachfront Mexican bodega! Great food, amazing service and the rose wine Moncontour Vouvray was really good! Visit if you can! A must stop!“
