“We both loved our food. The person at the counter was very helpful in selecting the right dish and the food came quickly. It's authentic Mumbai food. So of you like that, you'll love the food here. We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!“

“I Have been bringing my son here for the lunch buffet on the weekends, and now he just turned 16. The staff know us well, and if something isn’t right , they fix it right away. Example- small kids :I do feel as they need to be at the table instead of being at the buffet wiping their noses or coughing and then grabbing every single spoon on the buffet. This happened and I told the owner and he immediately fixed it! He replaced every spoon and had a guy wiping the entire buffet area. I appreciate the staff and thank the kitchen personell doing a great job and sending out wonderful food!! I do wish the prices weren’t so high though. I was there every weekend when the prices were at $13, now it’s $20 on the weekends. Too high for me. Now I can only go there once in a blue moon. It’s a shame because it’s one of the better Indian restaurants in Austin.“

“We had an incredible experience at Bombay to Kathmandu—an absolute hidden gem in Austin!
🌶️ Thukpa was flavorful and comforting, perfect for spice lovers like us.
🍗 Chili Chicken was simply amazing—crispy, spicy, and packed with flavor.
🥔 Alu Kulcha was hands down the BEST I’ve had in the entire USA—crispy outside, soft inside, and bursting with taste.
🍕 Their Indian-style pizza is also a must-try—rich with authentic flavors you won’t find elsewhere.
✅ The portion sizes are generous, and the quality is top-notch.
💰 Surprisingly affordable compared to many other places in town.
🔥 What we loved most—they catered to our super spicy preference and nailed it. Exceeded all expectations!
If you’re in Austin and craving bold, authentic, and spicy Indian-Nepali flavors, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Absolutely soooo delicious! The masala dosa classic is 10/10- So authentic! But for me the stand out is the Vada Pav. It’s mindblowingly delicious. It is my favourite food in Austin. I would travel here for this. The pav is a soft, little bit sweet bun that cuddles perfectly a spicy and salty vada (potato, chickpea?, patty). The vada is something you’ll keep dreaming about. It has the kind of seasoning that stays with you forever and you’ll compare other foods to for all your life. The minty sour tangy chutneys just elevate the whole thing. Every bite is sooo pleasurable - so memorable- words can’t capture it.“

“One of the best East Asian foodtruck in South Austin. I'm so glad these guys exist to beat my cravings. I've had their butter chicken masala which comes with a side of white rice. Ive had chicken noodles and chicken hakka noodles too. I absolutely loved them all. My personal favorite is chicken Hakka noodles and I have it pretty often now. I've attached a pic of it here.
For all the dishes, Quantity and Quality - absolute 5stars!! 🌟
I'd recommend this place to anyone craving East Asian food for sure!
The people working are very humble and polite too. They are open to suggestions on spice level and the food is prepared quickly.
Its a food truck by the side of the gas station with some benches placed for dining.“

“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad“

“The Chicken Tikka Massala was the best chicken and rice combo I’ve ever had, hands down. I bought to share with my husband and I didn’t even want to at the end.
The Mango Lassi was definitely very different than I’ve had before, I believe it came cardamom, I’m not really sure, but it was amazing!
I’ll be coming back for more.“

“we recently did a birthday party 🥳 at India gate restaurant (research Blvd location). the owner, Satya and his stuff really helped to cater our requests and we had a blast on the gathering event. The food was great along with seating arrangements of 100+ persons. The banquet hall may need some improvements to get the right ambience. overall pretty satisfied with food and hospitality.“

“Extremely satisfied with party order! Kuppanna offered multiple varieties in South Indian and North Indian dishes including vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Nanda made it easier for us by spending time with us suggesting menu items and order quantity based on the guest. Their briyani and pallypalyam chicken is top notch with same quality and taste as dine-in. I was doubtful on their North Indian dishes being a South Indian restaurant but they completely proved me wrong. Ordered Mugalai chicken and Malai kofta with Naan. Our guests loved it a lot. Thanks to Nanda, Chefs and cooks at Kuppanna offering us delicious food. Strongly recommended for party orders!“

“I had a great experience with both the food and service! I tried the Dahi Puri, Amul Pav Bhaji, and Samosa Chaat, and they were all amazing. The owner and staff are very friendly. Parking was a bit of a hassle at the old location, but it’s much better at this new one.“

“We live in Dripping Springs and used to drive to Round Rock to get our Indian fix because we are a bit picky. We came across the food truck one time and decided to give it a try and HAVENT MADE THE LONG DRIVE SINCE. Id like to think we are regulars, if not once a week then definitely at least three times a month. I recommend to everyone. My 3YO toddler drinks the tikka masala sauce and asks for "the garlic naan" all the time. Big fans!“

“A hidden gem, and I doubt use that term loosely.
The food is incredible, forget everything else, this is just amazing flavor! But yes the prices also super reasonable for the quality and generous portion sizes! Seriously great stuff, I want to try so many things on the menu, it all looked great!
Service was also super warm and friendly to us! And not in a paid to be friendly Chick-fil-A kinda way but more like these people are invested in this small business.
The name and atmosphere are the only things bits that fall short. None of us liked the name and originally thought it was Five star but it’s not that huge a deal, just has a strange sound to it. Also the atmosphere is totally fine but very basic. You can tell it’s a new establishment and will get more character and its own feel as time goes.
All in all a fantastic spot we will be returning to regularly!“

“Food quantity is awesome as compared to other halal restaurants near by. Customer service is on point. Wait time is 5-10 min. Cleanliness is key at this place. Our food came hot and fresh. I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. Will come back again for grill items as we saw some other customers order and it looked yum!“

“This place has been a favorite for several months for my family. We've tried weekend lunch and weekday dinners, consistently good every time. Typically, we have 4-5 people but we've done parties up to 10 without any change in quality or speed of service. Medium spice is hotter than most places, so start there...before going up.“

“Super tasty Indian food in an extremely clean, fast casual, cooked to order restaurant.
They have nice touches like build your own curry (Note: if you want genuinely spicy, you may want to select !X Hot, or at least Hot), as well as fresh filtered water and sliced lemons so you can skip paying for bottled water.
If you are looking for fully authentic Indian food, this may not be your place; however if you are feeling like really good Indian food in a convenient, speedy and remarkably clean restaurant (it bears repeating how clean they keep this place), I strongly recommend Tikka Shack Indian Grub!“

“I've visited Bay Biriyani in Austin, Texas, multiple times, and each visit has been an exceptional experience. Their Paneer Gongura Biriyani, Paneer Vijayawada Biriyani, and Mushroom Gongura Biriyani are absolutely delicious, with flavors that stand out and leave a lasting impression. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and taste of the food make it worth every penny. “Very delicious, I tried the following dishes and enjoyed them all:
Fried onion in chickpea batter, fresh and crunchy with spicy tamarind and Cilantro dipping sauces.
Chicken Tikka masala- chicken was cooked just right and curry is rich and flavorful.
Daal - also delicious thick and flavorful a little spicy.
The rice was especially fragrant and cooked just right.
Mango lassi- perfect balance of yogurt and mango puree, not too sweet.
Everything tasted like real Indian food with no shortcuts. I will definitely come here again.
There are clean picnic tables to eat at outside, if you don’t mind being close to a highway.“

“Your best stop for Indian food in Austin. From Paneer Tikka Masala to crispy Dosas and Upma, every dish was so well prepared. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and talking to them will immediately lift up your mood. What’s more? They do have no onion-garlic options as well! I must say trip to Austin is incomplete without visiting Indian Konfused Desi and Reddy Dhaba food truck. Highly recommend!“

“It was kind of hard to find their food truck tucked away at the back of the shopping center and they did not have any tables or chairs at the time for us to sit at, but the food was great and they were super nice. We waited in our car for the food to be ready and they brought it out to us. I tried a few new dishes from their specials menu which I had not had before and it was great.“

“This is in an upscale market and genuinely has the best Indian food in the area. We’ve had the samosas several times and they’re the best I’ve had south of Round Rock. It is reasonably priced with generous portions and genuinely tasty without overpowering you with heat. They’re not afraid to use spice unlike some places nearby. Far better than wasting money on sit down restaurants in the area.
Vegetarian options: Bowls with the standard curry dishes, samosas and Indo Chinese“

“Best Indian/ Nepalese in the whole state of Texas...yeah I said it. I've been to India, lived in London, and San Francisco (all hot spots for Indian food). For around 16 bucks at the lunch buffet you are going to get a wide selection of expertly seasoned, marinated, stir fried, and stewed Nepalese dishes. Tandoori chicken, Manchurian noodles, chicken tikka, veggie korma curry, stewed goat, biryani rice, fresh buttery thin nan just to name a few stunners. This is by far the most value for the money. Hands down. Make the short drive north, you will get a real authentic honest taste of India/Nepal.“
