“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad“

“They are doing great work and I hope this business gets a lot of love and support. They are specialists of the Kongu Nadu cuisine, which comes from a specific part of the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. I have enjoyed every single dish I've had so far, and will definitely keep going back for more. For reference, I'm NOT from that part of the country, but I appreciate well prepared food across any cuisine.“

“We ordered the spicy hot house special chicken curry with cheesy naan and garlic naan. DEFINITELY recommend getting the cheesy naan, and the house special chicken curry!! It was absolutely amazing, I left there so happy, full, and content!! 🙌🏼 We also recommend ordering the Spciy hot chili Momo, ABSOLUTELY MOUTH WATERING! 😤 Great restaurant, will come again!!!
Update: The food is here keeps getting better!! I always order the same things, and they keep improving the quality of the food!! “This time I got two beers. One is from Nepal with a citrus flavor, and the other is an Indian beer with a more bitter taste. It was a great combination with our food. I love it here!“

“We live in Dripping Springs and used to drive to Round Rock to get our Indian fix because we are a bit picky. We came across the food truck one time and decided to give it a try and HAVENT MADE THE LONG DRIVE SINCE. Id like to think we are regulars, if not once a week then definitely at least three times a month. I recommend to everyone. My 3YO toddler drinks the tikka masala sauce and asks for "the garlic naan" all the time. Big fans!“

“This food is DELICIOUS! You can’t go wrong anywhere on the menu, and the sauces are amazing, do not pass them up! Excellent tortillas, and the Samosas are perfectly fluffy. Indian + Mexican is the fusion everyone needs, and the service is lovely, I’m so glad this has come to oak hill!“

“Your best stop for Indian food in Austin. From Paneer Tikka Masala to crispy Dosas and Upma, every dish was so well prepared. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and talking to them will immediately lift up your mood. What’s more? They do have no onion-garlic options as well! I must say trip to Austin is incomplete without visiting Indian Konfused Desi and Reddy Dhaba food truck. Highly recommend!“

“Desi Sandwich Foodies is a best choice if you’re after flavourful, authentic‑style Indian sandwiches and frankies, with generous portions and good value. The frankies are especially worth trying. If you go, pick a version you like paneer, chicken, etc. maybe ask for extra sauce or heat if you like spice“

“Tried the Dahi Puri and Sev Puri. Dahi puri was crunchy yet soft, creamy, and so satisfying! Sev puri had the absolute burst of flavors! The perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. However, would appreciate if they really add extra spice when we ask cause some of us like spicy food 🌶️“

“I Have been bringing my son here for the lunch buffet on the weekends, and now he just turned 16. The staff know us well, and if something isn’t right , they fix it right away. Example- small kids :I do feel as they need to be at the table instead of being at the buffet wiping their noses or coughing and then grabbing every single spoon on the buffet. This happened and I told the owner and he immediately fixed it! He replaced every spoon and had a guy wiping the entire buffet area. I appreciate the staff and thank the kitchen personell doing a great job and sending out wonderful food!! I do wish the prices weren’t so high though. I was there every weekend when the prices were at $13, now it’s $20 on the weekends. Too high for me. Now I can only go there once in a blue moon. It’s a shame because it’s one of the better Indian restaurants in Austin.“

“Very delicious, I tried the following dishes and enjoyed them all:
Fried onion in chickpea batter, fresh and crunchy with spicy tamarind and Cilantro dipping sauces.
Chicken Tikka masala- chicken was cooked just right and curry is rich and flavorful.
Daal - also delicious thick and flavorful a little spicy.
The rice was especially fragrant and cooked just right.
Mango lassi- perfect balance of yogurt and mango puree, not too sweet.
Everything tasted like real Indian food with no shortcuts. I will definitely come here again.
There are clean picnic tables to eat at outside, if you don’t mind being close to a highway.“

“Food quantity is awesome as compared to other halal restaurants near by. Customer service is on point. Wait time is 5-10 min. Cleanliness is key at this place. Our food came hot and fresh. I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. Will come back again for grill items as we saw some other customers order and it looked yum!“

“Came here with 2 children 7 & 4 at around 6-8pm. The Service was Amazing!! They were very Welcoming. The atmosphere was warmly lit with a great ambiance good music of all types. They don't have an actual kids menu but my kids love the Grilled Butter Chicken & Cheese panini with fries and rice. We also ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Marsala & 1 Shrimp Tikka Marsala. 2 orders of Naan, 1 Virgin Mumbai. We were stuffed. They do automatically charge a 20% tip as part of your bill. You also can get a good deal on Groupon!! David was our Server and Bartender!! His drink was amazing and they offer Virgin mocktails for all of their drinks.“

“This place has been a favorite for several months for my family. We've tried weekend lunch and weekday dinners, consistently good every time. Typically, we have 4-5 people but we've done parties up to 10 without any change in quality or speed of service. Medium spice is hotter than most places, so start there...before going up.“

“Absolutely soooo delicious! The masala dosa classic is 10/10- So authentic! But for me the stand out is the Vada Pav. It’s mindblowingly delicious. It is my favourite food in Austin. I would travel here for this. The pav is a soft, little bit sweet bun that cuddles perfectly a spicy and salty vada (potato, chickpea?, patty). The vada is something you’ll keep dreaming about. It has the kind of seasoning that stays with you forever and you’ll compare other foods to for all your life. The minty sour tangy chutneys just elevate the whole thing. Every bite is sooo pleasurable - so memorable- words can’t capture it.“

“I heard they make their own onion samosa’s which really shows in the flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and I especially enjoyed the Pachi Mirchi and Guthi Vankaya Palavs. Next time, I’m planning to try the goat along with one of their fan-favorite lassis.“

“This is in an upscale market and genuinely has the best Indian food in the area. We’ve had the samosas several times and they’re the best I’ve had south of Round Rock. It is reasonably priced with generous portions and genuinely tasty without overpowering you with heat. They’re not afraid to use spice unlike some places nearby. Far better than wasting money on sit down restaurants in the area.
Vegetarian options: Bowls with the standard curry dishes, samosas and Indo Chinese“

“This place is truly and honestly so freaking good. I come here often, Especially for the mango lassi. It's amazing filling food for a great price, hardly any wait, and the containers can be reused which is a definite plus considering its a college area full of students just trying to survive 😭
Been meaning to write a review for ages but each time I get it, I forget to take a picture because I devour it all so quickly (remembered this time!) 10000% recommend. It's so worth it 🙏“

“This is a food truck where you order inside the convenience store and pick up at the truck. The food tastes really good.
Food got ready in 10 mins.
We ordered Samosa Chaat and a Dal Makhani Bowl (which comes with rice and a small naan):
• The Dal Makhani was very good—rich, creamy, and flavorful.
• The Samosa Chaat tasted great too, with added pomegranate and radish. The quantity for both dishes is decent.
The price for these two items was $27. In my opinion, that’s reasonable, as some reviews mentioned it was expensive. Quantity-wise, it’s definitely enough for two people.
Note: With the Samosa Chaat, it’s unclear if the chole was freshly made or if the samosa was fried beforehand, so some people might experience mild digestion issues a few hours later.
Overall, a good option for Indian food near South Congress.
Tip: Keep some appetite for the rest of SoCo! The vibe on South Congress Street is superb, with lots of ice cream, coffee, and treats. Eat light here, then enjoy the rest of SoCo.“
