“We had party order from Sangam for our event during May 14th weekend for 3 courses (1 Lunch and 2 dinner) for about 100 people. Shiva was working with me and helped with the menu making sure none of the courses repeat any items including papad. He made suggestions based on our preferences and also guided us with the count and other details. Each of the delivery was made promptly at the requested time. The food provided was scrumptious and quantity was more than sufficient. Each of our friends were pleased with the food. Shiva - you are the best to work with and Sangam team , keep up with the amazing food and quality service you all provide. #indianfood #yummytummy #sangamchettinad“

“Very flavorful fantastic food, excellent portions, plenty of vegetarian and meat-friendly options, friendly staff, and a lovely interior. This place deserves to be more busy. Its rare that I eat a meal so good that I end up pausing after eating just to relive the experience of what I just ate, but this place had me doing just that. I'm partial to indian and nepali food as I am good friends with a Nepali chef and have been privileged enough to experience the many of the best cuisines of those countries and the food here held up to the very high standard I have grown accustomed to. Food is everywhere in Austin, but this place, among all of that variety, is more than worth a visit.“

“This place isn’t just a café – it’s a creative food lab where innovation meets tradition. From their unique Perugu Vada to the nostalgic Railway Idly, and now the heavenly Junnu, every dish tells a story. A huge shoutout to the amazing hosts, Venkat and Swapnil, whose warmth and service make the experience even more memorable. 🙌 If you’re looking to explore food that surprises and satisfies – this is your spot. 💛 #DesiliciousCafe #FoodInnovation #JunnuLove #SupportLocal #InspiredDining“

“After visiting this unassuming restaurant twice in a month, we are convinced the chef and cooks are stellar. The offerings in the buffet are cooked to perfection with every dish absolutely delicious and healthy. This cannot be by accident. The servers are very attentive and constantly replenish the different dishes as needed so it is always fresh. The restaurant is spotless and one can easily get fooled by the sleepy location. We cannot recommend this little gem for Himalayan and Indian delicacies. They have been open for several years now and we hope for many more years to come. Though we live over an hour drive away, we will be back often. Bravo.“

“We live in Dripping Springs and used to drive to Round Rock to get our Indian fix because we are a bit picky. We came across the food truck one time and decided to give it a try and HAVENT MADE THE LONG DRIVE SINCE. Id like to think we are regulars, if not once a week then definitely at least three times a month. I recommend to everyone. My 3YO toddler drinks the tikka masala sauce and asks for "the garlic naan" all the time. Big fans!“

“Just had a delicious dinner at Sivestar! I don’t do well with spice so they recommended the chicken Tikka and it was delicious 😋 I got the bowl and customized with the yummiest sides. Great spot with lots of healthy and delicious options! Can’t wait to go back!“

“There was a really nice food truck outside that offers a variety of delicious options. I definitely need to try some of the food there. They have really good choices, and they will cook the food according to your preferences. However, be aware that there is no restroom available, so keep that in mind. Overall, it's a nice place to visit for some Indian food.“

“This was a surprisingly big taste for small joint my family and I ate at about 6 months ago. It was so good and we decided whenever we returned to the area we'd eat here. Marie, was sooo helpful and accommodating. Today we had 8 adults, 3 kids and 2 babies and she rearranged the tables to fit us all. This is a small gem. The food was tasty and service great. They need to grow so they can get a bigger better location going forward!“

“Your best stop for Indian food in Austin. From Paneer Tikka Masala to crispy Dosas and Upma, every dish was so well prepared. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and talking to them will immediately lift up your mood. What’s more? They do have no onion-garlic options as well! I must say trip to Austin is incomplete without visiting Indian Konfused Desi and Reddy Dhaba food truck. Highly recommend!“

“Desi Sandwich Foodies is a best choice if you’re after flavourful, authentic‑style Indian sandwiches and frankies, with generous portions and good value. The frankies are especially worth trying. If you go, pick a version you like paneer, chicken, etc. maybe ask for extra sauce or heat if you like spice“

“Absolutely soooo delicious! The masala dosa classic is 10/10- So authentic! But for me the stand out is the Vada Pav. It’s mindblowingly delicious. It is my favourite food in Austin. I would travel here for this. The pav is a soft, little bit sweet bun that cuddles perfectly a spicy and salty vada (potato, chickpea?, patty). The vada is something you’ll keep dreaming about. It has the kind of seasoning that stays with you forever and you’ll compare other foods to for all your life. The minty sour tangy chutneys just elevate the whole thing. Every bite is sooo pleasurable - so memorable- words can’t capture it.“

“Tried the Dahi Puri and Sev Puri. Dahi puri was crunchy yet soft, creamy, and so satisfying! Sev puri had the absolute burst of flavors! The perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. However, would appreciate if they really add extra spice when we ask cause some of us like spicy food 🌶️“

“I Have been bringing my son here for the lunch buffet on the weekends, and now he just turned 16. The staff know us well, and if something isn’t right , they fix it right away. Example- small kids :I do feel as they need to be at the table instead of being at the buffet wiping their noses or coughing and then grabbing every single spoon on the buffet. This happened and I told the owner and he immediately fixed it! He replaced every spoon and had a guy wiping the entire buffet area. I appreciate the staff and thank the kitchen personell doing a great job and sending out wonderful food!! I do wish the prices weren’t so high though. I was there every weekend when the prices were at $13, now it’s $20 on the weekends. Too high for me. Now I can only go there once in a blue moon. It’s a shame because it’s one of the better Indian restaurants in Austin.“

“Very delicious, I tried the following dishes and enjoyed them all:
Fried onion in chickpea batter, fresh and crunchy with spicy tamarind and Cilantro dipping sauces.
Chicken Tikka masala- chicken was cooked just right and curry is rich and flavorful.
Daal - also delicious thick and flavorful a little spicy.
The rice was especially fragrant and cooked just right.
Mango lassi- perfect balance of yogurt and mango puree, not too sweet.
Everything tasted like real Indian food with no shortcuts. I will definitely come here again.
There are clean picnic tables to eat at outside, if you don’t mind being close to a highway.“

“Food quantity is awesome as compared to other halal restaurants near by. Customer service is on point. Wait time is 5-10 min. Cleanliness is key at this place. Our food came hot and fresh. I tried the Mongolian Beef and also tried some of the Asian items and they were all good. I really hope the quality stays as it was simply delicious. Will come back again for grill items as we saw some other customers order and it looked yum!“

“It was kind of hard to find their food truck tucked away at the back of the shopping center and they did not have any tables or chairs at the time for us to sit at, but the food was great and they were super nice. We waited in our car for the food to be ready and they brought it out to us. I tried a few new dishes from their specials menu which I had not had before and it was great.“

“I heard they make their own onion samosa’s which really shows in the flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and I especially enjoyed the Pachi Mirchi and Guthi Vankaya Palavs. Next time, I’m planning to try the goat along with one of their fan-favorite lassis.“

“This is in an upscale market and genuinely has the best Indian food in the area. We’ve had the samosas several times and they’re the best I’ve had south of Round Rock. It is reasonably priced with generous portions and genuinely tasty without overpowering you with heat. They’re not afraid to use spice unlike some places nearby. Far better than wasting money on sit down restaurants in the area.
Vegetarian options: Bowls with the standard curry dishes, samosas and Indo Chinese“

“This place has been a favorite for several months for my family. We've tried weekend lunch and weekday dinners, consistently good every time. Typically, we have 4-5 people but we've done parties up to 10 without any change in quality or speed of service. Medium spice is hotter than most places, so start there...before going up.“

“Ate here from when attending the Bounce The Mall event. The Sandwich was really good. Not super chewy with a nice little kick to it. My daughter has the pot stickers which were nice and hot. The only complaint was hard to hear staff but that was due to circumstances out of their control.“

“Best fries in ATX, hands down. Spicy, crispy, HOT and with Five Guys portions.
Cannot stress how fresh and hot this food is. Literally burned my mouth a full 15 min after getting our order and sitting down.
Very tasty classics (tikka + butter chicken) and several 10/10s besides: chicken 65, kofta korma, and naan. We went back the next night because I felt like I hadn’t left a big enough tip the day before.
The owners were super sweet, accommodating, and kind. Support them!“
“Tried Desi Tadka for the first time and everything was really good. The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, the saag paneer was creamy and the paneer really soft. The chicken 65 were super tender. Their samosas and rolls were great too. Definitely ordering again!“

“Unfortunately had to change my review based on today’s visit. The mysore masala was bland all the chatnis were bad and sambar was just water with no flavor.
Previous visit…. Mysore masala and Madurai masala was real good, railway tea brought memories from childhood railway journey’s.
Next time will give the thali a try.“

We also ordered rasmalai, and you'll probably not find better rasmalai in this area. Oh and dis I mention how affordable everything is!“
