I absolutely loved celebrating my birthday at Lutie's - Vincent was amazing to my friends and me. The food was delicious, you could taste the freshness and care put into each of the dishes.
The food was sooo goooooood. The atmosphere was lovely, the tartare was so fresh and wasn't overwhelming. The quail oouuu lalaaaaa, the porridge that came with the lobster was surprisingly nice, kind of reminded me of New Orleans. We were at first sad the soft serve ice cream was out at the time and ordered the kouign-amann ice cream, oh boy what a great choice that was.
Dear Lutie's Team, I'm writing to share some feedback about my recent dining experience at Lutie's. My husband and I chose Lutie's to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary, so we were especially looking forward to a memorable and special evening. Lutie's offers a stunning and perfect dining experience, ideal for a special celebration, date night, or a family meal. The food is consistently delicious, with incredible flavor and beautiful presentation. Standout dishes include the signature bread, a sumptuous king crab custard, excellent chickpeas, and various incredible desserts like the apple cider ice cream. The chef's selection menu of small courses is also excellent.
The atmosphere is gorgeous, moody, and comfortable, featuring a dark green Art Deco interior that is intimate and dimly lit. The spacious and quiet garden feels like Europe in the middle of Austin, providing a Texifornia vibe. The setting is quiet enough for conversation even with a full house.
The staff are kind, professional, friendly, and fun, dedicated to providing the best possible experience. Additional highlights include a memorable Cafe Brulot experience and a worthwhile Monday happy hour. While pricey, Lutie's is a favorite and a perfect place to return to for lunch or dinner.
