The Commodore Estate has such beautiful grounds and buildings.
We were able to park across the street but valet is also available. Prior to our seating we walked the grounds and wished it was cooler and we could have stayed longer.
The hostest and service were so attentive from start to finish. The restaurant is so cozy with the indoor plants and it only got better as the sun set.

Fabulous place. Very luxurious in a beautiful setting. I've lived in Austin 30+ years but had not ever been there until yesterday, August 1, my birthday. Three other ladies were also celebrating their birthdays. It's a special occasion type of place! Extravagant and elegant. ❤

Lutie's offers a stunning and perfect dining experience, ideal for a special celebration, date night, or a family meal. The food is consistently delicious, with incredible flavor and beautiful presentation. Standout dishes include the signature bread, a sumptuous king crab custard, excellent chickpeas, and various incredible desserts like the apple cider ice cream. The chef's selection menu of small courses is also excellent.
The atmosphere is gorgeous, moody, and comfortable, featuring a dark green Art Deco interior that is intimate and dimly lit. The spacious and quiet garden feels like Europe in the middle of Austin, providing a Texifornia vibe. The setting is quiet enough for conversation even with a full house.
The staff are kind, professional, friendly, and fun, dedicated to providing the best possible experience. Additional highlights include a memorable Cafe Brulot experience and a worthwhile Monday happy hour. While pricey, Lutie's is a favorite and a perfect place to return to for lunch or dinner.
