P. Terry's Burger Stand is a go-to place on a pinch, open 24hrs around the UT campus. The customer service is excellent, and the food is very good. The vegetarian burger option is great, and orders can be easily customized. The shakes are also liked. However, the drive thru can be slow; if there are 2 cars ahead, expect a 20 minute wait at least, especially on Sundays. One time on an ACL day late night, it was packed and hectic, with a group waiting over an hour for food, though the cooks were amazing and as fast as possible. The restaurant has fifties style or retro decor with upbeat music. The cashier once asked something in Spanish and apologized, giving two shakes instead of one.
