“This place is an absolute gem. We wanted somewhere we could go grab a drink with our pups while visiting Austin. This place was perfect. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. HUGE beer selection and great, varied food menu. They greeted us with treats and water bowls for our pups. Everyone was so nice. “This is one of the best cocktail bars in Austin. I wish I could go here every night. It’s a cozy yet classy atmosphere, and there’s always a fun movie playing behind the bar.

The bar program has been nationally recognized, and the drinks are so tasty, complex, and unique. I try to grab a different cocktail every visit because they work so hard to craft recipes for every new menu, and I have never had a bad drink there.

Everyone is always so friendly, too. I love the staff here. They are always willing to answer questions or start up a conversation. Visit the bar. I promise, you won’t regret it.“

“Gourdoughs is not only a MUST VISIT for out of towners, but totally can be a weekly regular spot, because of not only how delicious they are, but the vast varieties they have to cure that savory, sweet or "coffee" tooth! They seriously have some of the most decadent delicious treats out there!! I know for some of you indulging in donuts like this isn't always a regular thing, but they now offer MINI versions of the massive donuts you're already a fan of, which allows you to feel more "responsible" eating them AND allows you to try all the different varieties they have and of course justifies more regular visits hehe! PLUS they offer coffee and a couple savory items like their breakfast sandwich and Ron burgundy burger (super juicy, delicious with a quality angus patty), along with their mother clucker (fried chicken and donut) which is some of the BEST fried chicken out there!! The have conditioned their food truck spot to be super inviting with tables, umbrellas and "instaworthy" signage! It had been YEARS since we visited Gourdough's and are kicking ourselves in the butt that it had been so long! Don't let that be you! If you have never been or its been a minute, we HIGHLY encourage you to check them out again and try some of their new offerings or enjoy something you haven't had in a minute!
