I've eaten here dozens of times and have never had a bad meal. The queso is always delicious. Breakfast/brunch options are great. People complain about the price on the tacos but the tacos are huge and tasty. The quesadilla is very reasonably priced for how much food you get. Honestly shocked to see so many people flocking to put down a good restaurant for completely inconsequential reasons, even leaving one star reviews after loving the food and service. Boy, I hate to leave bad reviews. I think I do it more to let the owner and staff know. Hey, you gotta tighten up your shop. I’ll agree with the other reviews. The servers are all standing around talking to another, and also sitting at the tables texting. Come on. And of course the bartender was hanging out with her boyfriend. Absolutely unacceptable! I’m wondering how others have had such different experiences from mine. Taco Flats has my favorite tacos in town and they’re priced totally fairly for the size and amazing quality! Every time I’ve been I’ve left happy and full; I crave the El Hippie and TF Orignal all the time. Any time we have friends visiting I suggest coming here to get the best tacos in Austin!
