When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! “5 Monkeys... nice, funny name, isn't it? I've tried this place a few times now, and honestly, it keeps amazing me every single visit. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends as well as family. The staff is very well-mannered and attentive, they keep checking on you without being overbearing, which is really nice. The Long Island Iced Tea is one of my go-to drinks here, and it's amazing. They also offer complimentary nuts (cashews, peanuts, and chickpeas) which are super tasty and perfect when you want a light snack along with your drink. They opened just a month or two ago, and we've already been here around 6 times, that itself says a lot. Food highlights: Chicken Wings - I call them jumbo chicken wings. I love the garlic parmesan, and my wife loves the buffalo garlic parmesan. 5/5 Chicken Nuggets - Nice, juicy, and crispy. 5/5 Loaded Fries - My absolute favorite appetizer. 10/5 Grilled Chicken Melt - The bread and chicken are sooo good. 5/5 My friend tried the Pitawich (falafel & chicken) and said it was really good. Grilled Chicken Platter - Amazing combination of basmati rice, fries, salad, and sauce. 5/5 My friends also tried the Touchdown Lamb Platter and enjoyed it. Portion sizes, especially for the appetizers, are very generous. If you're looking for good food, good drinks, and a great atmosphere, this is definitely a place to try. They also have hookah, we didn't get a chance to try it yet. On a lighter note , the only small request would be better lighting so we can take nicer pictures of the food... haha! San Antonio badly needed a place like this with good drinks and food, and we finally got it. Perfect spot to watch games and chill. Highly recommended!“

“Our World Cup experience here was above expectations! We have been watching every Mexico game and definitely appreciated how accommodating management and staff have been with our large parties. Service on a couple of occasions is the only reason this is not a full five stars. Last night, there was a young lady who insisted we ordered a drink that was added to our bill but we kept having to plead our case that it was not. We understand mistakes happen but the customer should not be automatically blamed. Appreciate you, Novo and crew!“

“The Bend is a super chill bar to go to at anytime of the day. Always very friendly bartenders. Smoking is restricted to the outside, but part of the bar is hybrid (inside/outside). The smokers love to sit there and of course all the smoke blows inside. So, it seems like you can smoke indoors, because you're hit with the smell of smoke immediately when you enter the bar. It's not so bad when the other hybrid doors are open. Karaoke with Toby on Tuesdays and Thursdays is awesome as well!“

“This local pub is in our neighborhood. We went for lunch on my husband's birthday with my in laws and our server Kaitlin was the best! She was patient and informative with my in laws who usually have a lot of menu questions, and the food was excellent and large portions for the price. My husband even got a piece of cheesecake to celebrate! They have live music a few nights a week, and you can rent their very cooly decorated room or tables in the room. Lydia who manages events was very also helpful when I inquired. Great local business, check them out!“

Idle is great place for people to meet new people and have conversations with others after work. The food was fantastic. The loaded nachos were piled high with fresh toppings and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy, juicy, and perfectly sauced, while the waffle fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. The ranch was delicious and complemented everything perfectly.
