“Enjoyed food and atmosphere“

“Showed up at 4:45pm on a Tuesday (online it says they close at 5:30pm) that's 45 mins till close and they were already closed. I drove 30 mins here for nothing.. I visited on a separate day and mentioned it and they said they weren't closed. I regret that I didn't take a picture for evidence, but you can't tell me that I didn't experience what I experienced.

Nonetheless, I always come here for the same thing and it's the spicy pasta. It's sooo delicious, so imagine my frustration with them being closed that day. I will say this, the spicy pasta lacks consistency. The first time I had it, it was not the same color as displayed in the restaurant pictures. However, it still had a kick 6/10. The next time I went it was spicer than the last 7/10. & the third time I went it actually had the color it was supposed to have and it was 10/10 the spiciest dish I've ever had. 😩🥵 It took me so long to eat it omg, but it's so good. I honestly hate that for me. Lmao. I know my nervous system be having a fit. Make sure you have something to drink ion standby if you may need it. The bread that comes with it is a good addition; it's toasted & tasty. I think next time I will try the regular pasta. 😂“

“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“I have been wanting to try this place for some time now after excellent reviews from friends. It exceeded expectations from the well-balanced and delicious cocktails to both cold and hot dishes. For cocktails I tried the Maracuya (welll-balanced, fruit forward but not too sweet) and Club Esmeralda (balanced with fresh herbaceous essence). My husband had the Saltao’ Sour (balanced Mezcal cocktail but not too Smokey with egg white for a nice finish) and Hola Oaxaca (Smokey cocktail balanced with the Orgeat). I recommend trying them all! For food we started with the Nikkei Cebiche which was the highlight of our meal. The fresh Yellow Fin tuna layered with flavors instantly had us ready for a second visit. On to the Piqueos section of the menu where we enjoyed the Yucca Frita, Conchitas a la Parmesana and Anticuchos. Each a warm dish with continued fresh flavors. For our main course we shared the Chaufa (fried rice with pork belly, sausage, egg etc) again layers of flavors and a hearty portion to share. We completed our food journey each with a glass of wine, he a Sauv Blanc from Chile and myself an Albariño. Please come enjoy this lovely gem in Southtown. “First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “On 02/09/2026, my wife and I dined at Signature in San Antonio, Texas. We were overwhelmed by the service and the menu. Our server Catherine guided us through all four courses. We were amazed by the freshness of all the ingredients and the presentation. The quail was exquisite. The beet salad was to die for, and the venison melted in your mouth. The fried oysters and crispy salmon were amazing. All the staff were very attentive, but I must give high praise to our server Catherine, who made our special evening even more special. “We took our 9 yr old with some friends for his birthday and the staff was phenomenal! Every single staff member we came in contact with went above and beyond for us. (Note: We did not book a party, we just walked in and free played) I tried to remember names, and I know I forgot some, but the ones I can remember are: Ariel - helped us figure out the best bang for our buck and so friendly! Any questions I had, she answered. Skye - she was great with the kids in laser tag and the prize area. So helpful. James - the kids were waiting for us to finish the transaction and he was helping them do some free play with the games. Right off the bat great service from the time we walked in until we left. Another time James was so helpful was with the ropes course - 2/4 kids were not having it. He tried to convince them they were okay and he wouldn’t let them fall but also let them know they didn’t have to do it if they didn’t want to and helped them back down to the floor. He also had a partner in the ropes course but I forgot his name. He was so nice and polite! James also gave a little gift to my child. Made his day (and ours!!). Ivan - we had an issue with a game and a prize getting stuck. He came over right away and helped and asked if there was anything else he could do for us. Kelvin - he was our waiter in the Bowling area. He was so friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. Helped me with choices on the menu. Great fella! Again, we cannot get over how friendly as well as above and beyond the staff is at Main Event on 1604 & 281! Thank you for making our day! We will definitely be back!!“

“Bohanan’s is the last name of the chef in Owner and was established in 2002. The building itself has some great history and I believe I was told this latest one is the third owner. Everyone we met last night took such great care us.“

“I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite place to eat in San Antonio. Located near the airport in a tucked away location, RO-HO Pork & Bread is a hidden gem. This is comfort food at it's finest. Ro-Ho has many great things on the menu, but they are best known for their Torta Ahogada, and it's what I get almost every time. The torta is always hot, the carnitas cooked to perfection, and the tomato salsa is to die for. You can get the torta with straight carnitas or you can mix it up with carnitas, pork stomach and skin, which is what I usually get. The torta also comes with cabbage, onion, radish and lime. No matter how you order it, it's going to be great! The place is super cool, with Mexican artwork and music. There is inside seating and an outside covered patio as well. Everything you can get to drink from the cold case is always ice cold. And they serve one of my favorite Mexican beers, Victoria. Chef Rojo is often around and greets customers. The ladies that work the register and food line are so friendly, and will answer questions if it's your first time. The place fills up quickly at lunch, so keep that in mind. I drive clear across town for my Torta Ahogada fix, if that says anything! Check this place out!“
