“Tonight me and my boyfriend went to eat at J.wilson’s, they did not have what we ordered on the menu so the manager Dylan came up to ask if he could help. Well he suggested something else because they no longer carried that steak but still had it on the menu. On top of that the restaurant A/C was not working well at all and it was pretty hot in there. My boyfriend asked the manager why was it so hot in there. The manager proceeded to tell us that they had five new a/c units and it so happened they were not cooling like they should be. We were like well did you call and have somebody work on it maybe they need to be working on it now. The manager was like well I’ll call and see if they can come check to see what’s wrong and I’ll let you know. Well needless to say he never did come back and to tell us what they said. It was very unprofessional and he did not follow through with what he said he was gonna do so it was very miserably hot and on top of it we did not get what we wanted to order. They staff is very accommodating and professional, and the food is normally great. Would like to hear from the owner. Chester Burgess“

“Super friendly service and the food was really good. We got there like 10 min.s early before they opened. We did not realize we were just a little early. Instead of telling us to come back in a few minutes, they did the polite thing (which is unheard of in today’s society) they told us we are not quite open yet, but we can seat you. They told us it maybe a few minutes for us to get to you. This is totally understandable. Even if they told us to come back we would have understood. But very refreshing for a business and its employees to treat customers like they are more than an inconvenience. The waiter we had was amazing. Very attentive!!! The food was great! My wife and I had a great experience! Good job JW’s Patio!“

“We dined in tonight and celebrated our anniversary. Destiny was our server. She was incredible, paid close attention to detail, gave wonderful service, and was genuinely kind. Her table presence and professionalism is something we haven’t seen in a while. She gave excellent recommendations. We had a few wonderful cocktails and the empanadas for an appetizer. We had Thai curry soup , harvest salad for the next course and we were blown away! For our main course we did the redfish and the steak bluecheese pizza, we couldn’t have had better selections. We want to thank everyone who contributed to us celebrating our anniversary this evening. It certainly was a night to remember!“

“Not only is this one of the few remaining Lubys in Texas it also has a drive-thru.

I ordered the cheese and bacon chopped steak combo meal. It comes with two sides and a roll. I also ordered a slice of the classic chocolate icebox pie. It was less than $18 and everything was absolutely delicious.

The young man who waited on me through the drive-thru was very helpful and they got my order out to me quickly“

“Visited at around 5 on a Friday evening. Plenty of seating available, atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. Appetizers were the stuffed mushrooms and onion petals. For the main course my wife ordered the bone in ribeye with a loaded bake potato and a side salad. My meal was the T bone with rice pilaf and a side of steamed broccoli. My wife asked for medium rare and received a medium rare steak. Seasoning was on point with a nice flame sear. The T bone was ordered rare and received as such. Again the seasoning and sear were perfect. We ordered a mixed drink for her (strawberry margarita) and I had a Mai Tai. Our server was courteous, considerate, and attentive. At no time did we feel pressured to rush a decision and periodically check to verify everything was satisfactory. For the quality of the food, prices were fairly set. The complimentary bread and butter were fantastic. We will definitely eat here again. The only detraction we found was the entry/exit setup. Customers have to exit through the same doors they entered. Exiting past waiting customer entering is a little congested and confusing.“

“The waitstaff were pretty busy with the drive thru, inside slow but people would come in one at a time. The food was good! No complaints about the food. Behind the counter looked very clean and well organized. They had plenty of condiments readily available. If you couldn’t get it from the pumps, they had the plastic packets behind the counter.Unfortunately it was dirty and sticky where the drink fountain and condiments are.We will be back.“

• Southwestern Eggrolls: Crispy flour tortillas filled with chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeño Jack cheese, red peppers, and spinach. Served with avocado-ranch—absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.
