The groom requested Old Orange Cafe bread pudding with rum sauce for his cake. It was a huge hit!! I highly recommend Chef David and Old Orange to cater your next event. We couldn’t be happier!“

“I HAVE DINNED AT RICKS SEVERAL AND FOUND IT A VERY NICE, CLEAN AND PLEASANT PLACE. WITH VERY GOOD FOOD AND WAITSTAFF. BUT I WAS THERE TODAY AT 10:30 AND WENT BACK AT 11:00. THE PLACE WAS CLOSED.“

“The food is always exceptional here. I gave 4 stars due to they do not honor military or the Denny's point system. Also there is a hit or miss with staff. There are some really good waitresses then there is a girl with colored hair that was extremely rude to a customer and one time when I picked up my to go food they stopped with my food in their hand to talk to their friend that had came to eat after my app said it was ready 30 minutes prior but I still was there waiting.“

“Whatever you order will be delicious. Love the fried chicken - spicy style. Big piece s too. Chicken strips big too. I don't believe I've seen chicken strips this size at any other fast food place. Fish and shrimp fried to perfection. Must try onion rings. Fabulous.“

“Mikey, (I hope that’s how you spell it) the cook, is wonderful. Apparently he usually works third shift, but luckily he was here in the afternoon. Not only was he cooking, but helping to train a waiter for every order! Keep in mind the manager was around in the back, but Mikey and the server where out here just doing their thing with a full house.

Usually I have to ask the waiter to have the cook take my eggs back to cook them more. There was NOTHING cooked bad. Everything was to perfection without asking. Not sure if people can get raises at Waffle House, but he deserves one!

He even started to serve and helped with entering things into the cashier for the new server.

He saw one of the waffles for another table was cooked too long, he made sure it did not go out. He dropped another one in to make sure it was great! Others would have gave it to the table and made another only if someone complained.

He needs to be a manager! Everyone with us said so. No complaints. I wish I lived nearby to only come here and for his cooking.

I almost forgot to mentioned, he changed his gloves 100 times lol. He’s probably the cleanest Waffle House cook, I’ve ever watched cook in general, let along at a Waffle House.“

“A friend of mine told me about this place and let me try some fish he bought today I decided to try it and man I’m so glad I did I got fish fried okra and fries and the okra has to be the best okra I’ve ever had by far and the plate of fish won’t even close it’s so full I will definitely be eating here a lot and would recommend over any other place in Texas“

“I stopped going here years ago. Was in town and decided to take a chance. Very happy that I did. Things have really took a turn for the better. Service was fantastic, food surpassed expectations. I got a chance to speak with the new GM, Catherine. Very nice lady. You can tell she cares about her restaurant. If you wrote this place off before, like I did. I urge you to give them another try. They will not disappoint.“
