“called to place a to go order & the lady sounded bland, like she was having a bad day and didn’t really want to be working. it’s monday so, i get it. i guess. by the end of my order i was just hoping when i got there that the food would atleast would be good! the food did NOT disappoint. the baked potato is the size of a whole to go box! my man ordered the 3 meat plate, and said it was delicious. meat was tender, cooked great and the bbq sauce was good! service is drive thru/pick up only from what i seen, which was no big deal. if you’re hungry and looking for something quick and delicious, most definitely give this place a try!“

“J WILSON’S FOR THE WIN Sometimes a Saturday doesn’t go as planned. After knocking out a few errands in Beaumont, I figured I deserved a little treat — I reached out to a handful of friends, but everyone was busy. So once again, I ended up dining solo… something that seems to be happening more often lately (probably means a little self-reflection is in order). But here’s the truth: it still turned into a pretty solid evening. I slid into a seat at J. Wilson’s, started with a Godfather cocktail — smooth, cold, and precisely what the moment called for. Followed it up with a great ribeye steak dinner and capped it off right with crème brûlée and strawberries (along with a second cocktail). Not a bad way to close out a long Saturday. Sure, having a beautiful woman sitting across from me would’ve been the icing on the cake… but you take the wins where you find them. And tonight, the win might just be ending the night with a good cigar and a quiet moment to breathe. J Wilson’s for the win. Service was great — as usual; and the meal was perfect. Not a bad Saturday at all.“

“So some locals took me to this place and I started getting looks like what is this guy doing here so I know it’s gonna be good and it did not disappoint. They kind of treat you like family and make sure you have cash cause they do not do cards they do not tap because they not wrap they don’t do any of that. Crispy chicken was the best. Extremely friendly staff who make you feel like you're neighbors. Absolutely phenomenal burgers. You HAVE to try the pickle spears... That dill batter is like the food version of crack. “First time here, and the food was pretty good! Hubby’s steak was a bit too cooked, so it was tough to chew. The deviled eggs were delicious, and my fig and prosciutto pizza was also great. I also tried the avocado and cucumber salad, which was pretty good. He had a Bloody Mary, and I had a Long Island Tea, which were okay drinks. Not something we’d order again. It was very quiet and not crowded at all when we went on Sunday. I loved the decor and the lighting. It had a chill vibe!“

“Visited at around 5 on a Friday evening. Plenty of seating available, atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. Appetizers were the stuffed mushrooms and onion petals. For the main course my wife ordered the bone in ribeye with a loaded bake potato and a side salad. My meal was the T bone with rice pilaf and a side of steamed broccoli. My wife asked for medium rare and received a medium rare steak. Seasoning was on point with a nice flame sear. The T bone was ordered rare and received as such. Again the seasoning and sear were perfect. We ordered a mixed drink for her (strawberry margarita) and I had a Mai Tai. Our server was courteous, considerate, and attentive. At no time did we feel pressured to rush a decision and periodically check to verify everything was satisfactory. For the quality of the food, prices were fairly set. The complimentary bread and butter were fantastic. We will definitely eat here again. The only detraction we found was the entry/exit setup. Customers have to exit through the same doors they entered. Exiting past waiting customer entering is a little congested and confusing.“

“I walked in the other day and there was absolutely no one in there. No staff. A small alarm was going off and again nothing. I waited almost 10 minutes until a young woman came in. I got my order and left and as soon as I was driving out, they were all outside goofing off at the side of the restaurant. I usually have no issue with the staff and they are usually so sweet and nice. A little unprofessional guys. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of this.“

“Overall the experience was good. Was highly disappointed that there was not any hot tea as an option even tho it was on the menu. Music was good and monae was helpful and kind. I typically settle for coffee with the occasional other small options.the coffee is really good and makes up for alot. I hope this place keeps doing good work.“

“This is the best restaurant in Beaumont. The happily agreed to accommodate our special education students with an incredible experience. Teresa was our server and she is absolutely the best. We had close 40 people in our group, the food was hot, and the drinks were filled. It was an exceptional time. They are definitely worth going to see. Go see them.“

“My family and I had a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival the staff held the doors open for us, it was especially helpful since we had a 7 month old in her carrier. There was no wait, we received complementary croissants, appetizer came directly after , maybe less than 10 minutes later we received our food which was delicious. The server was very friendly and informative. Family friendly environment, service was top tier. I definitely would recommend.“
