“All around t star experience. Been here at least a dozen times over the years, and when I've got time during a visit to Austin, this place is a must.
Friend and I did a girl lunch - appetizers only. I can now say I've had them all!! My friend loves the Nuevo Diablos, and I couldn't get enough of the blue cornbread. We definitely got to much, but no regrets for leaving some behind because it was a real treat!“

“Food was great, got sauced (Nashville hot) chicken crispers with the three for me and was some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in a while, very very fresh and the fries were also great. Service was perfect as our waiter was there when needed, and occasionally refilled our drinks when they were nearly empty.“

“A small shop at the back of a convenience store with limited seating on the other side of the store. The gentleman (Tino?) working was very friendly and pulled together the order fast. Servings were stout and tasty, which I was very grateful for. My friend got standard breakfast tacos. I ordered the gordita with pastor spilling out the sides. They were out of barbacoa. Good stuff.“

After that, the food was just okay - not bad, just missing spice or anything resembling Tex-Mex seasoning. Had the taco plate, Taco salad, quesadilla, and flautas... Don't get me wrong, decent, but tasted very Americanized. Had been led to believe it would be easy better. Oh well.“

Thanked us for coming in, told us we had plenty of other options but he appreciated us deciding on Lupe. Rico had the most incredible “can do” attitude for whatever we needed. “The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

Our server (James) was outstanding, the food was fabulous and the chips & salsa was so good the 6 of us each ate a basket of chips and had several refills on salsa! The Enchiladas were so flavorful with the fire roasted Verde sauce.....highly recommend“

“Holy Cow! Brisket at Switch Barbeque in Dripping Springs is some of the best you will have in Texas. The chopped beef sandwich is a generous portion. tithe potato salad is so creamy and tasty you need to make sure you get it. Burnt Ends! These are not covered up with some sugary stuff to make them taste good. They are stand alone. Our waiter Barry was outstanding and the beer is served in frozen mugs. Can you get better than that? It would be difficult.“

“Just set up and cooking at this location. You may remember it from the backside of Sam's Town Point. Hankering for a fried chicken sandwich this popped up nearby on my search. Pleasantly surprised with a great sandwich, tots, and threw in a taco and I'm completely stuffed. I'd say it's text Mex - heavy on the Tex. Which is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely coming back to try the quesadilla and burger!“

“The view was excellent. So beauty at Sunset. During my visit, there was an extreme crowd. It was so crowded, we waited in line to enter, waited for a table and long line to order food and drinks. Since this was my 1st visit, I will need to go back before I could give a fair and accurate review.“

“Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.“

“I love Torchys, been going since they existed. This particular location has struggled but is much improved. Food has become more consistent, automated checkout up front has improved the ordering experience and cut the line down. Still room for improvement as the staff walks around almost clueless to where people are to deliver food and more mistakes than the other locations.

“I just go go go, so I didn’t stop and check what time Freebirds open on Google. I just noticed their website lets you place an order for whatever time, earliest was 10am, so I placed it for then. I live 2 minutes away, I didn’t need to search up where it’s at and therefore wasn’t shown the hours until I walked up to pick up the order where it states 10:30 on the door. I felt bad, and an employee came in early just to do my order. I appreciate that a lot because I wouldn’t be able to pick up the order any later for my company.
There’s even another order I placed for delivery because one is gluten free and that one had a limit as the earliest availability to deliver being 11:15am. I do suggest they fix the website on editing the times they allow pickup to be, but besides that - I am really grateful! Food was gooood 🙂‍↕️“
