Didn’t manage to get a picture of the drink because it was drank before a photo could be taken🤭it was the perfect blend of whiskey, cola, and fancy black cherries. 🍒 💕 The tostadas were exceptionally made with love utilizing local farm fresh beef, pickled red onions, greens and jalapeños 🤤 🌶️ Chef Travis and his team take pride in using local farm fresh ingredients! The bartenders, and chefs are not only beyond talented in their craft- but they are also welcoming & friendly🫶 you will feel right at home here. ❤️ There is even live music on the weekends- they’ve got you covered for entertainment 🤘 🎸 This is a hidden gem of a place, go check them out! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”

“Wow! So blown away that this small of a town has this good of a restaurant! I have eaten here 4 times in the past 3 days, fresh,organic, and homemade. Everything I love! No seed oils. Highly recommend the savory crepe with smoked salmon and a lemon butter caper sauce.. to die for. Fresh made gelato, no high fructose corn syrup. If it can’t get any better the ambiance makes you never want to leave. Good Wi-Fi and great coffee! Each dish is made with attention and care and it shows! I can’t wait to come back to Blanco so I come eat here!”

“We’re visiting from Missouri and stopped at The Bistro for dinner. This has been one of our best decisions on the trip! I ordered the spinach/artichoke dip (best I’ve ever had), and our friends ordered the queso for appetizers. They were wonderful! For entrees, my best friend ordered the apple salad and her husband got the chicken tenders with waffle fries. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and my hubby had the bacon/brie burger and fries. All were exceptionally good! The wait staff was excellent, the food extraordinary, and the view spectacular. We WILL be back!!! 5 STARS!”

“My husband and I passed by this place while on vacation and decided to stop. It is AMAZING! We had a hot apple muffin and bought a whole pie to take with us. The pie was incredible too.”

“I rarely order capuccino out bc I'm so picky. Theirs was spot on. Started off with good quality coffee. My friend has told me about local water buffalo milk and I learned also from the employee. It's very good for people who can't tolerate milk from regular jersey cows. All of their ingredients are clean. It's good to see a small business thriving. There were other customers stopping in too. I highly recommend this place if you are traveling Blanco.”

“Buchanan’s Coffee House in Blanco is such a gem! The coffee is fantastic, the shop is super cute, and the service is always great. Even when it’s busy, the staff are kind, efficient, and on top of keeping everything clean and welcoming. I’m obsessed with the Hanna Banana iced coffee—banana and Nutella? Yes, please! My husband is a big fan of the “Alfredito” espresso drink. We always make a point to stop in whenever we’re passing through town for job sites. Highly recommend!”

“My friends and I from San Antonio had the best time. Outstanding flavors (Reuben was out of this world,) the best margaritas, and the vibe was amazing with professional live music and people just dancing and living it up. Even ran into people I hadn't seen in ten years, maybe more! 5 star all the way.”

“The Barbie Beef and cheese was underrated at $12. worth the trip down just for the sandwich. the regulars are cool, bartenders were quick and great attitudes. BUT THAT SANDWICH really brought it home. (thanks Kevin) Get it with the chips. If youre disappointed you can punch me in the face. I give it 7 out of 10. I like dive bars, especially if they have food, live music, pool tables, and my kind of people sitting out front at the picnic tables. (The sandwich; on a roll style bun, toasted, melted cheddar, in house beef with Texas smoked BBQ flavor, caramelized onions, and seasoning was perfect, will add some habanero or jalapeño for my next one)”
