6 Best Tex-Mex Restaurants near Buda

“Okay. I'm going to preface this by saying I feel like I have a pretty high standard for tacos. My favorite food is tacos, so I really was excited to find a new taco spot after moving to Kyle a few weeks ago.

I was a little sticker shocked when I walked in. I have never paid $4.50 a taco before, BUT, they are not street taco size. They are a standard taco size and they are STUFFED. The taste was perfect!! We got chicken and barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa was PERFECT. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, and it was NOT greasy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned! I am always happy when the chicken is not dry, but nice and juicy. The green salsa was amazing. It is not watered down like a lot of other taco shops, it is actually spicy, so we were very happy with it!

There is a cute indoor sitting area, service was great, pricing is perfect for what you get.“

“Been going there since high school after Saturday football practice for breakfast/lunch!!! Took my fiancé their to have her enjoy some really wonderful Mexican food. The original restaurant burned downed :(( The food truck that operates now was still on point in making CASA ALDE my FAVORITE place to eat Mexican food in/around the Austin area!!! Let's help find a way to rebuild Casa Alde a new restaurant in Buda,Texas!!!“

“I've been a weekly customer now for over five years. Sam always goes out of his way to say a friendly hello to me and ask me how things are going. Really appreciate the high level of customer service here. The store is kept well-stocked and extremely clean. Prices are very reasonable for a neighborhood convenience mart and their food options are VERY good. I would highly recommend shopping here over most of the other local stores.“

“Went to Chili's in Buda, TX, am& OMG, it was above& beyond any other Chili's experience I've ever had. I ordered the guiltless Salmon, & it was perfectly crispy &moist & the sauce on it was craveable! My coworker had the sampler & gave me a mozzarella stick & it was the best cheese stick I have ever had. Staff was super friendly, service was excellent, process are appropriate and not way too high like most restaurants these days. We sat in the bar. The front of house manager was extremely accommodating& informative; we live in the DFW area. He said they got new kitchen appliances & they cook to perfection. He wasn't wrong! I would go all the time if I lived in Buda. Unfortunately, it's a ways away from Arlington so I will go again if I am ever in Buda for work. I'm the meantime, I'll crave it!“
