“First of all, I don't write reviews too often, but the service here was exceptional yesterday, so I am inclined to say something. The workers were so helpful and kind as it was my first time visiting this type of restaurant. They guided me on what food offerings to put in my bowl and what flavor broth to choose as it is different from other shabu shabu/hot pot style places I have been before. For me, I chose the number 2 level of spiciness, which was perfect for my liking and the flavors reminded me of a mix of cham pong and ramen, which I love. Make sure to put some korean sausages in.
I also ordered the cream shrimp goubaorou dish, which was exceptional. They use potato flower that made it crispy and chewy at the same time. The sauce flavor was similar to honey walnut shrimp dishes I had before, but the texture and crunch made it one of my favorite dishes.
Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Make sure to ask for Alina as she made my family, and I feel so welcomed and created a comfortable atmosphere. Great job guys!“

“I have had several things here and most of it is great. Now for the good. The sesame chicken is crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Might be the best I have had. The beef broccoli is tender and really good. The Mongolian beef is really good. We don't usually eat egg rolls and get them every time. I highly suggest hot and sour soup. Now to the bad. The Rangoon was not good at all. I won't order it here again. And tonight my fried rice has a burnt metal flavor. The rice is usually good so I am assuming its a fluke. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone.“

“Easy to find parking. Inside is clean. We had the braised beef soup and dry chicken noodle bowl. Both were very tasty! Great flavor and not overly salted compared to other restaurants. The wontons in chili oil hit the spot and a great price too! Will definitely come back. Shout out to the sweet ladies who took our order. :)“

“I got the pepper steak and fried rice. Fried rice was good but needed salt or some msg. It was missing something. The pepper steak was good. I wish it had been cooked a little longer. Prices are fair for what it is. The egg rolls tasted like they were cooked in old oil“

“The food here is like Panda Express on steroids!!! It is so so so good, flavorful, and fresh. Even the staff was super nice and their portions were absolutely insane for the price!!
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!!
Make sure to check the hours because they aren't open on weekends and their hours are very short.“

“One of our favorite dine in spots. It's unfortunately to far that we don't go as often as we want. But when we get the chance, we hit it as often as we can.
Positives - The food, the food, the food!
Some of our favorite dishes:
- Douban tofu fish - Fish with bean curd - the attached photo. This is an item from their special menu, I don't believe it's in the english menu. It's a mala flavor profile with boneless fish and soft tofu. Yummy.
- Xiao long bao - the classic pork soup dumpling. Best eaten fresh from the steamer.
- Garlic pea sprouts - tried this for first time, regretted not trying it sooner. Was great.
- Eggplant w/ garlic sauce - one of our kids favorites.
- Sauteed string beans - one of my personal favorite ways to eat this veggie
- Black pepper beef - a classic, but done w/ good beef, not the stringy shoe leather some other places use.
If you've never been here, it's worth a try.“

“All of the different type of carb they had like rice cake, glass noodle, ramen and more all tasted great in the Mara hong. The mushroom tasted a little strong in the broth but it is better when stir fried. I recommend level 2 for the Mara hong since it’s spicy but not too much. I also add in beef with mine but it was chewy. It’s tasted better when stir fried. I really like all the veggie options and they were generous with portion. For the stir fried dish, they asked us to at least spend $20 for it by adding in more fillings. Level 3 spice level is super spicy for the stir fried so be warn.“

“Not a lot of good dumpling spot in Carrollton so this is a true gem. The lo mein was delicious, whereas most lo meins are just salty, this one actually had very nice flavor undertones. The pork buns and chicken dumplings pictured were also very nice.“

“Several months ago, friends had gotten taken out here and had leftovers. I ate some of them later in day, which created a craving for more for months. Finally, my friends said what birthday dinner do you want? The sesame chicken from that place in Carrollton. We ordered it and everyone was so impressed with how it tasted! Wish they had one in Plano! Seriously, delicious!“

“This is our family's must stop for Korean Chinese food for over 20 years. Korean Chinese is what typical Chinese restaurants serve in Korea. Most common are Jajangmyun (noodles with black bean suace), Tangsuyuk (Korean version of Sweet & Sour Pork), and Jjamppong (spicy seafood soup with noodles). While it has gone through some changes (including cooks/chefs), their food has been great (in terms of authenticity and taste) in recent years. They have gone to "self service" during Covid and has stayed that way as of today. You order and pay in the back (by the kitchen), find a place to sit (can be challenging during peak hours), get water/tea, utensils, and side dishes, wait for your buzzer to buzz, go pick up your food on trays, and enjoy. You also pack up your own left-overs (since serving sizes are rather large), and bus your empty/dirty dishes/bowls/utensils.“

“I am giving this family 5 stars in these trying times. Rather than complaining about some hiccups with the flavor or temperature of food, we have been ordering from this restaurant since we’ve moved back to the area in August of 2022.
With Covid and all going on, they managed to survive as a business and continue to deliver their promise to the Carrollton community. We personally have not had any issues with the food from here. Although it does indeed taste a little different than other Asian cuisine that we’ve had, it isn’t bad food. I have never gotten sick from eating their food.
Their son is very smart and it’s very touching to see them operate their business and I can tell it makes them proud. I would rather support local, family owned businesses than greedy corporations. I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could just to cancel out the negative, personal feelings that people are reviewing them for and no hardcore facts or evidence of such claims.
A couple times we ordered late not realizing what time they closed, and instead of turning us away by saying, “we are closed already, we’ve cleaned up all”, they took our order still and made it and waited for us to pick it up. You may think it’s for the money which it may be, but they didn’t make us go hungry, is the point. They actually cared enough to “reopen” their business after closing hours, to feed someone in the community, and putting in extra hours and labor to do so.
Please don’t knock these people before you even meet them. They are genuine people. The son and mom always interact with their customers and are always smiling.
Thank you for serving Carrollton, we will be back many more times to support you!“

“7/24/24: I've been fasting since 10:00 p.m. night before. I had surgery at 7:30 am. Just got out. After recovering, They sent me home... But I was hungry so where did I go? Yep, here! My comfort food is fried rice. Yes, I'm Asian Filipino. So my wife and I ordered some fried rice, chicken and string beans, teriyaki chicken, & crab rangoon. Everything tasted fantastic! Thank you team at the restaurant for a wonderful experience and super tasty lunch after a fast overnight.“

“The best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had! My wife and I had the grilled pork Bahn Mi, so delicious as well! What really set the tone was how clean everything was, and the gentleman who checked us out also checked in on us multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Additionally, he made recommendations after we ordered! Awesome experience!“

It's an ideal spot for those coming from work who don’t want to eat at home. They’re open until 2 AM, so it’s bound to get busy as more people discover this hidden gem. If you’re looking for a great place to unwind and enjoy good food with friends, Crazy BBQ is definitely worth checking out!“

“Loved it! Stopped by 1/2/25 for lunch and the servers were amazing. The food was fresh, served very quick and is also very affordable.
I had the green pepper soup with the standard toppings and it was rich and just a tad spicy and numbing. The marinated beef shank with the toasted peanuts were pretty good and used some as noodles toppings.
While the noodles is their main speciality, their menu has a little bit to accommodate more tastes. Their kids meal is also healthy and of good value.“
