“They drove 13 hours from TX to WNC to provide food for; not only people in need, but frontline workers performing disaster relief. All for the sake of being humanitarian. I've never been to Texas, nor had Texas BBQ, but I'm willing to drive 13 hours just to reciprocate. If you decide to give them a try, definitely go for the smoked chicken. You will not be disappointed.”

“First time here but it won’t be our last. The Tennessee chicken salad on croissant was recommended by our waitress when we asked her to help us out with ordering. Very good! We were casually dressed and the name of the restaurant made us wonder if we would be underdressed but not at all. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We are in town due to family illness and are leaving tomorrow for a couple weeks but we are so glad we found this place just wish it was 10 days ago when we got to town. My sister had the Fish and Shrimp Combo and I had the Philly Cheesesteak and this is hand down the best I have ever had. Sister says it is worth staying a couple extra days to eat here again. Hate that we are having to come back to town very soon but so glad we found a great place to eat. And the owner is super nice and a very hard working lady. Please do yourself a favor and try this place.”

The friendly staff will make you forget you have to pay for the coffee by making you feel like you’re at home, and to top it off, they do random giveaways that make you feel like you are the star of the show. 10/10 would recommend.”

“For the record I RARELY leave reviews.. So I only come into Carthage about one to two times a year for work and we always go to the same place.. but this time we mixed it up.. and glad we did!! If it counts for anything, I got the plain Jane burger (because you can’t mess a simple burger up right?) and WELLL it is anything but plain! Simple? yes, delicious? YES! And this is from someone who orders to go while everyone else eats in but I eat a couple hours later in the comfort of my room.. So yea 2 hours after cooked the bread was still fully intact and not soggy which was a VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE!! I can about imagine how good everything else on the menu could be! Needless to say, I’ll be impatiently waiting for my next work trip into Carthage for this burger! OH and the young lady who tended to us was SUPER SWEET and helpful throughout our couple hours there!”
