This is a hidden gem! We were in town visiting our son that goes to college in Carthage, and wanted to go to dinner at a local restaurant. This one was perfect! We loved the hometown feel. The food was incredible and large portions. I am here to tell you, HANDS DOWN THE BEST STEAK AND EGGS BREAKFAST I have had in a very long time. Monstrous sized steak that is cooked to perfection. WOW is all I can say. If you find yourself in Carthage Texas do yourself a favor and get some damn good food.

First & second visit all in one day. Was in town for something & stopped for breakfast. Had 2 egg breakfast with biscuit, bacon & grits & hubby had same but with hashbrowns. Very good. Biscuit tender but didn't fall apart. Everything prepared well. Was in town still so went back for dinner. Chicken fingers & cheeseburger. Onion rings & homemade chips. This place is a winner. Workers are so nice. Nothing fancy but comfortable. They also have a lunch special that looked good.
