“It was my first time to the Texas Tea Room though I have been told about it before. It absolutely did not disappoint! The food was excellent especially if you like home style cooked food which I do. I got the chicken fried steak and it was wonderful and cooked perfectly. A lot of rich history inside with warm lighting. “This Dairy Queen lives up the the 5 star reputation of the franchise. The tall dude was very friendly and our order was prepared correctly, quickly and was hot and fresh. It was a little smoky inside but that’s how you know they’re cooking and not microwaving ?The restroom was clean but I have an issue. Going from a 1-1/4” tailpiece from the lavatory to a 1-1/2” p-trap is fine but back to a 1-1/4” trap arm?? And with a reducing fernco band? That’s some ugly plumbing.Also, generally best practice is to have the flush handle of the toilet facing away from the wall. This is for people with disabilities but it’s nice for everyone.Last thing, it’s time to replace the air filter in the lobby. Maybe it’s a 24x48”?“
“We just stopped at the Sonic in Carthage TX. Little town, busy little restaurant! And the staff was so friendly! They were very fast, courteous, and efficient. They followed up with us several times, always chipper and kind. It was a great experience.“
“It's McDonald's. Great option if you're in the market for a Big Mac or Chicken Nuggets, Terrible option if you're looking for Ice Cream (Typically). Seems their employees are hit or miss here. Sometimes you get super polite, helpful, friendly ones. Some act as if the fact you're in their drive thru really is an inconvenience to their day.“
“This place is very cozy. The food is always really good. Diner/home cooking type food. The staff are all very nice. I just wish they were in a better location. The parking is usually full even though it's not parking for people at the location.“
