I live out of town currently and I ordered a pie for delivery online and I messed up not only the delivery time but forgot to add a note for the recipient. Completely my mistake. I called the store and Katie answered the phone, actually she answered every time I called (3 total LOL) I received a happy greeting and Katie was delighted to help me correct my mistake. She made me feel like a friend, not just a customer, and I truly appreciated all the help! Definitely recommend. Thank You Katie!“

“We highly recommend Caballero Bakery, we walked in this morning and bought a box of pan dulce, a variety of pieces for The Humane Society to thank them for their hard work in our community. They wanted to know where this pan dulce came from, they commented , " we have never had pan dulce so fresh, and soft. Not hard and stale". We sent them a screenshot of their website. We are always greeted with a smile, and treated like family. It's a must try!“

“Living in the Panhandle of Texas, finding a good TexCzech kolache is next to impossible. I don't mean klobasniky (sausage roll), they are everywhere. If you find yourself in San Antonio, however, may I recommend to you the Kolache Stop, east of I-10 on Huebner. Great selection of delicious–and authentic–kolaches in a welcoming and comfortable establishment. We were greeted kindly and given not only what we came in wanting, but also some excellent suggestions that we were glad to take. Kolache Stop makes kolaches with standard poppy seed, cream cheese, and fruit fillings (my favorite is the apricot!) as well as fruit and cream cheese and (my wife's favorite) nutella and cream cheese. Every variety we tried was delicious. In addition, they make breakfast and dinner kolaches that are worth your trip in. The egg, bacon, and cheese I had was well seasoned and fit the bill for a quick breakfast before we hit the road back to the West Texas plains. And, if you want klobasniky, they've got them, too. 😄 Bottom line, head to the kolache stop and get your kolache cravings filled.“

“I had to share my experience because it’s truly amazing. Today is my husbands birthday (1/7/25) and time got away from me and I had planned nothing. We don’t do big birthday’s but I at least needed a cake. The time is 4:44pm and I call to see, by chance if they have a strawberry cake.. not only that but with lemon frosting (yes, weird combination). I spoke with Devon, and he said he could have my order ready by 5:00pm!!! 😮 Remember, it’s 4:44pm!!! I get there, experience the best customer service and there it is, this beautiful strawberry cake with lemon frosting! This business provided something to me that shouldn’t have been possible given the timeline! I get home and we celebrate and taste, and it meets all the marks! Freshness, moist cake, strawberry flavor came through perfect plus the gentle flavored lemon frosting! And the price was soo reasonable! I’m floored and couldn’t have asked for more!!! Praise God!! “I wanna start off this review saying I’m making this review during the Texas Music Educator Association Convention, and even during a VERY busy time like this convention weekend, my order was taken care of pretty quickly. While there was a discrepancy on my order of pepperoni pretzels and how it was placed in the system, the man making the pretzels was pretty good on fixing it quickly. I also picked up 4 classic rolls, and the Churro Chillata while here, which was all ready pretty instantly, and had to wait 12-15 mins for the pretzels. Hope they get to hire extra staff for when it’s needed on weekends like this.“

“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“
