“One of my favorite cafes in San Antonio! I love to come here and order food/drinks and work on my laptop. Seating is really comfy and there are a few outlets along the wall that I can plug into. Food is excellent (love the sandwiches) and the matcha is delicious. Staff are friendly and there are plenty of free video games to play.“

“I found this place by browsing places on Google. I decided to stop in with my retired mom. She is older and is always looking for healthier options. We ordered a tuna sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. It comes with house chips. They aren't flavored or salted or peppered. They are bland. I did notice that even for the hamburger they do not offer fries. There is a substitution charge of 1.75 to upgrade, so keep that in mind. I may try fries next time. Service was slow as it was lunch time and there were a lot of people waiting for their food as we sat down. The place cleared out and the staff came to clear the plates. Overall it was a good experience. We may return again and try some other items.“

“My friend took me here last night and I’m so glad she did! She ordered the garlic noodles (absolutely amazing and definitely something I’ll order next time) with a mangonada drink. I forgot the actual name of it.
I ordered the kimchi fried rice (I wish it had some meat in it but it was so delicious nonetheless) and a Vietnamese iced coffee. We also ordered a ube cookie, which was so good, I wished I had gotten a second one lol I forgot to take pics of the food and drinks but I’ll for sure be coming back here!“

“Good food always but pricey... Service is good at times, not so other times. Seems like the wait staff have trouble remembering when you ask for something. You have to ask several times. Nothing special about the decor...no frills. Food makes me coming back. Parking is limited“

“As someone who loves tea I am so glad I found this place. The Steeped Leaf has the best quality tea in San Antonio; so much variety and delicious taste. Also a great place to go for just relaxing and enjoying the drinks they make; I love the Matcha Latte! The service is fantastic and the owner Tammi is always there to help and explain things; she is a tea connoisseur.

“We have used The Board Couple several times and every single time they exceed our expectations. They are easy to work with, ensure quality of their products, are fully willing to work with you on what you want for your board, I cannot say enough positive things. We have used them for both holidays and game nights and there is always so much wonderful food that it lasts for the entire event. Everything they have put together for us has been stunning and our guests always ask for their information so they can also order from them. They are not only a wonderful business, but also wonderful and kind people. We had an unexpected death in the family and they worked tirelessly to help us reorganize our board delivery and set up with no complaints, they were more worried about us grieving than their time and energy! They were unbelievably sweet and we are so thankful. I can’t recommend them enough, truly, wonderful offerings and wonderful people!“

“We visited Outlaw Kitchen tonight for the first time & it was an amazing experience! From the staff to the wine to the food it was a fantastic dinner! Johanna was our waitress and she was so beautiful & lovely to speak with! The owners, Peggy & Paul, were gracious & felt like family. The chefs made meals that were top notch - can’t believe they haven’t received a Michelin Star yet! They will though, trust me! Outlaw Kitchen is a MUST dining experience!“

“My wife and I went for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. We had breakfast tacos. I had coffee and my wife had a hot tea. The tacos were very tasty and very full. The setting is Texas country style. It appears to have been a house with a a fireplace. It is right off 281 North and sits back far enough hidden behind beautiful Oak trees. There is plenty of seating inside and a nice size deck. They serve breakfast and lunch and prices are great.“

“Maria's was the 5th spot we tried on our search for best breakfast tacos in SA. The bacon, egg, potato and cheese was really good especially with that hot sauce and its spicy kick. The bean and cheese, while also good wasn't as flavorful as beans I've had elsewhere. The carne guisada and cheese was the best taco for sure. It's a bit of nitpicking, but the meat wasn't quite as tender as compared to other spots and the tortillas overall were on the chewy side. That being said, I really enjoyed this spot and would definitely return for more breakfast tacos as well as to try all the other options on their menu. 4.2 out of 5“

“Got breakfast here. They have a weird way of ordering food where you have to order at the golf store and then walk over to the Cafe. Food was overall what I expected, not a 5 star meal but decent enough. I noticed the staff really don't look like they want to be there.“

“We went to the bar called Be kind Rewind. It has 80's,90's and Y2K music. They have all the good video games like Mrs. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, DK Jr, Mario Bros and many more. They also have pinball machines as well. So for those of a certain age who remembers what good video games were. We loved and will be going back for sure.“

“Living in the Panhandle of Texas, finding a good TexCzech kolache is next to impossible. I don't mean klobasniky (sausage roll), they are everywhere. If you find yourself in San Antonio, however, may I recommend to you the Kolache Stop, east of I-10 on Huebner. Great selection of delicious–and authentic–kolaches in a welcoming and comfortable establishment. We were greeted kindly and given not only what we came in wanting, but also some excellent suggestions that we were glad to take. Kolache Stop makes kolaches with standard poppy seed, cream cheese, and fruit fillings (my favorite is the apricot!) as well as fruit and cream cheese and (my wife's favorite) nutella and cream cheese. Every variety we tried was delicious. In addition, they make breakfast and dinner kolaches that are worth your trip in. The egg, bacon, and cheese I had was well seasoned and fit the bill for a quick breakfast before we hit the road back to the West Texas plains. And, if you want klobasniky, they've got them, too. 😄 Bottom line, head to the kolache stop and get your kolache cravings filled.“
