“We had a wonderful time at J. prime last night for our anniversary. It was our first time visiting and we were so impressed. We called to inquire about getting a table at 9:30 at night after our previous dinner plans fell through due to a canceled reservation. J. Prime had our table ready at 9:45 when we walked in the door, complete with red roses and a handwritten Happy Anniversary card! Above & beyond, from the beginning. Our server, Laura T. was immediately so accommodating, friendly, and completely knowledgeable about the menu. She asked about our food allergies (we can’t have dairy) and made sure everything was tailored to meet our needs the whole night. The food was lovely and delicious - lobster tail bites, truffle fries, beet salad, Caesar salad, grilled broccolini & filet mignon. The flavors & sauces were great. For dessert we were brought a beautiful fresh sorbet with a sparkler to celebrate 💜 Laura made our night! Her attention to detail and quality of service was truly top notch, and my girlfriend is a chef so she has high expectations. We were so pleased & enjoyed our experience thoroughly. We will be back!“

“If I could give this place 10+ Stars I would. Such an amazing experience. My first time visiting and it was the absolute best in customer service and the food was fantastic. The customer service really made my night. From accommodating my 3 year old with crayons and princess coloring pages to every single (and I mean every single worker) saying hello and good bye. This place is beyond fantastic. We started the night with no service and no customer service at Deans steak house and ended the light BLOWN away by the workers at Bohanan’s.“

“Food was very good and brought with reasonable time. My family and I visited during graduation weekend, so it was reasonably busy. Trays of drinks were shattered on two separate occasions during our visit which disrupted the atmosphere but overall our server was very attentive.“

“My wife and I went today for lunch, she had the Chicken fried chicken and I had a burger with mushrooms and sautéed onions. Also a cactus blossom for appetizer. By far some of the best food we have had in a while. Complements to the chef and team. Devon was our waiter and he was great! We will be asking for him for now on when we go back. Also if you haven’t tried the Raspberry tea, you’re missing out lol. Just wanted to share cause great service is hard to find these days and again great job!“

“I gave the Outback a 4 star, the why. I came to outback with my family and at first asked to be seated at a table, after noticing we would be sitting in an uncomfortable position due to the walking path we asked to be seated at a booth, the young lady who seated us and another manager did not like this so this caused my 4 star review.

The food, service, and atmosphere deserves a 5 star rating. Harry was outstanding, he was on top of all the drinks and requests, he was very responsive and the whole table felt as if he was only serving our table. I will definitely be returning to this location but if harry is not my server I’ll wait for him.“

“Audra M. was notably one of the best servers we've had in a very long time across a large variety of nicer dine-in restaurants. To begin with, we were celebrating my girlfriend's and her dad's birthday and brought a red velvet cake. Without hesitation, Audra offered to put it in the guest refrigerator while we ate. That is something NO ONE has ever done in the past. It seems relatively basic, but it opened up some table space and kept it nice and cold. Little things like that really go a long way in the service industry. She went above and beyond to make accomodations for us, keep our drinks refilled, and quick witted taking notes for our order. Obviously, that kind of job is easier when you can multitask well and memorize a lengthy list of requests. Thank you Audra for outstanding service! This is why we don't go to Texas Roadhouse anymore.“

“We showed up an hour early for our anniversary dinner. They still managed to get us in early even with them being fully booked. We had Mike who was managing the bar and also serving. He was amazing! He gave us lots of insides on the food made some awesome recommendations and really made us feel like we’re the only ones in the restaurant. As a couple who has ventured out too many top Restaurants in the San Antonio area this was easily one of our favorites. Bravo to the crew and the staff on making our anniversary night very special.“

“I like the Yard House at La Cantera...it has outdoor seating and lot of good memories. The downtown San Antonio location is okay it just takes parking in the parking garage and a little walk to get there. Paid parking, they don
t stmp your parking tixket any longer. No outdoor seating either. I prefer happy hour and sharing with others so you get to try a lot of the appetizers. The martinis, drinks and beer are good! A little pricey during regular hours but happy hour pricing is great!

Parking: Paid parking available. Depends on what's going on in San Antonio as to whether you will find ample or little parking available. Paid $15 to park fir and hour and a half. There is an elevator to get to lower level.“

“The Barn Door is an Alamo Heights staple! Everyone that works there is extremely attentive and polite! They are the PROS when it comes to superb service and DELICIOUS steaks! They have an excellent bar selection and are known as a TOP restaurant for large get-togethers or FAMILY celebrations! Each dining room has a theme that speaks to VETERANS, ‘09er’s, and SAN ANTONIANS alike! I would say, that’s it’s just like winning the TRIPLE CROWN when it comes to Service, Food, & Atmosphere! I personally recommend the Chicken Fried Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato & Cheesecake for desert! P.S. the “Fool Proof” daiquiri will allow you to relax after a hard day at work!!“

“Looking for a late night dinner on a very short San Antonio visit. From the moment I called (an hour before closing) the service was outstanding. They knew my name checking in and gave us the choice of dining room or bar. We took the bar and had it to ourselves until we left. Brett was working the bar and was great at suggestions and alterations based on wife’s restrictions. Wine suggestion; great. Salted watermelon mojito; great choice. Brett was and is worth stopping in for a fabulous dinner or a couple drinks. Mix a great meal with friendly, professional service in a classy environment and how can you go wrong !?“
