“I ALMOST SUFFOCATED EATING THEIR POZOLE!!!! I almost swallowed a Heineken beer bottle cap. I spoke to the business owner Oscar, whom admitted they add beer to their pozole. But he said that they have insurance and that I could do whatever I wanted. In another words he didn't care that I couldn't have died. A bottle cap can tear up your intestinal track. The picture shows the bottle cap that I pulled out of my mouth before swallowing it. Oscar, Insurance will not help if you die. HE TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE!”

“Little gem in Castorville, if you want real authentic mexican food, skip the big restaurants and come to this beautiful little piece of Mexico 🇲🇽. We had the barbacoa, the mini tacos of asada and lengua and lengua ranchers and the combo plate, everything was delicious. The service is fantastic, the waitresses are super friendly.

“Pastries to die for. Literally better than any bakery anywhere I've ever found inside the SATX city limits and well worth the extra drive to Catstroville. I've tried muffins, cookies, custard croissants, cheesecake croissants, chocolate croissants, monkey bread, cinnamon rolls. Everything was melt in your mouth amazing. I do wish they'd put the food behind a glass barrier or keep in the back with just one display item out for sanitary purposes, but that's just me being nitpicky since other people won't even cover their nose when they sneeze.”

“My husband and I passed by this restaurant several times. We lived in Hondo going on three years. We finally got a chance to stop in and eat breakfast. From the beginning of our entrance into the restaurant, we were greeted with kindness, respect, and we fell in love with the restaurant already. We were family in the eyes of our server and the staff. All smiled and actually gave us a feeling of being grateful that we were there. Not only is the service stellar, so was our food. I ordered the carne asada plate. It was delicious & outstanding. My husband ordered the three piece crispy tacos plate, it too was amazing & delicious. Not much to look at from the outside, but well worth stopping inside for a bite.”

“Overall good. But, Dre made it excellent. She is very efficient, calm, and very good at her job. I came to this Subway about 5:30 pm. She's the only one working, yet making it go as fast as reasonably possible. She didn't show it, but I'm sure she was a bit stressed. They really need to have at least 1 other person to help her. That and she should definitely be paid extra.”

“We had the Billy Bob's Special/Cheeseburgers. It was really good. I didn't give 5 stars, because when I placed my order on the phone, the girl that answered was kind of rude. This was a week ago.”

“Waitress was amazing!! Friendly and very talkative love it! Now to the food!!! Omg the chicken was the best I’ve ever had and I told the waitress thank you for the recommendation. My wife got a chicken fried chicken and she said it was amazing. My son got chicken fried steak with a salad and that was the best he said. The bread from Haby’s was delish and not to forget the pecan and coconut pie were scrumptious!!! Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back It was a 10!!”
