“YOLO all. I very rarely come to Sonic because it’s very inconsistent, and the customer service is not up to par. Most importantly, when I ask for extra extra extra extra extra extra onions, I expect to have that amount on my burger.
Bruh, the person who actually took care of me today turned out to be the manager, Trey. I mentioned why the default on the tip is set to 0% versus the standard average of 15%, and asked him to pass the message along to the higher ups.
His demeanor and responses were so professional, and he took the time to actually have a conversation about this.
Most importantly, I asked why he is actually out here doing the carhops’ job. He said they have side work that they do, and he’s helping out. I asked why he would do that. He said, “Why not? It’s the right thing to do.”
Wow. Teamwork, personality, helping out. I just can’t right now. Thirty years in the food industry, so impressed, and I never had a manager literally just say “why not” to helping out. That is so amazing.
Trey, you’ve raised the bar. Don’t stop being you, man! Everybody complains, but taking the time to complement how well this dude did, amazing…..“

“Talk about incredible service with a smile. Greeted each time you walk through the door. I was taken aback by the friendliness because you don't encounter that much anymore. Adam was so sweet. I would go back just to see him. They also make a GREAT Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte. It literally saved my mornings.“
