“I've been coming to those location for some time now. It's usually ok with no issues but does tend to have a variation on staff customer service and the food being served. It's unfortunate that you must double-check our order before leveling the drive-thru window to ensure our order is complete and condiments have been out in there. Again, for the most part, everything goes well, but it has happened more often than none where our orders aren't complete. Food is nearly well served and instead messy and unappetizing. At times when I have to work late and considering grabbing some quick tacos or anything for that matter, it's either closed before closing hours or driving thru unattended. Overall, it is an ok option when nothing else is open, like today Xmas. My respects and best wishes to the staff, I'm sure, are not easy yet, very committed, and hard-working individuals.“

“Good food. They have great barbacoa tacos. Reasonably priced, friendly, fast, customer service. A plus, it being a gas station store and restaurant it is clean and organized, bathrooms were clean. So I wasn't hesitant to get food here. They also offer in door dining.“

“It's so hard to find a good chicharron taco, and y'all, this place has AMAZING chicharron tacos cooked in salsa verde. The chicharron is soft and tender, filled with flavor every single time I order them. My husband loves the beef fajita tacos. This place makes their tortillas fresh every day, all day long. They have four different salsas, two verde and two rojo, and they are all delicious. Pro tip, the tamales are bangin', especially the queso frijol y rajas. I love that they have a little spot outside to sit and eat right under the trees. This is my go to taco spot close to Waxahachie, even though it's technically closer to Red Oak, we make the drive. Can't wait to go back!“

“I have been dining at City View Tacos since they opened 14+ years ago. I love their quesadillas and spicy cups of corn. I rated low on the atmosphere because they have not reinstated dine-in-eating after ending dine-in because of the pandemic. They have covered tables outside. I do not like to eat a meal in my car. I hope they reinstate dine-in-eating sometime soon.“

“This is a great little spot to come get yourself some tacos or a burrito. I grabbed myself a breakfast burrito. Mine has bacon, egg, potatoes, and cheese. You can add onions and peppers. Man, when I tell you this thing was too big for me to eat the entire thing, I am not exaggerating. The price was well worth it. The location is located with a convenient store so yiu can go grab your favorite beverage to enjoy your meal. There is nowhere to sit and eat. Thus is definitely a grab and go spot. “Easily the best authentic Mexican food I’ve tried in the Duncanville/Cedar Hill area! Incredible flavors and generous portion sizes. The meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection, the rice and beans are flavorful and well-seasoned (but not overly so). Burritos and tacos are all absolutely delicious. As someone who loves authentic street-food type of Mexican cuisine (as opposed to TexMex), this place is amazing!!Simple walk up counter inside the Chevron gas station that you order at, and calling ahead is a great option too. If you love great Mexican food, you have to give this place a try!“

“Taqueria La Birria Shack is hands down the best spot for birria in town! Every dish I've tried is absolutely delicious, but I must highlight their hot sauce—the green one is incredible.

With the current economic situation, we've drastically cut down on dining out, opting instead for takeout from various local spots. Taqueria La Birria Shack has consistently come out on top.

It's one of our favorite places to order from, especially when the older gentleman is on the grill; his cooking is pure magic. The younger gentleman at the window also deserves a shoutout. He is incredibly friendly and provides great recommendations, though honestly, every item on the menu is fantastic. After trying everything they offer, this place remains a top choice for us every time.
